He stood in the door, face hug low. Jasannah looked with sorrow in her eyes. She stood from the couch and walked over to him slowly. Once she reached him she slowly placed her hand on his arm. His body tensed but he didn't pull away.
"I'm so sorry." She said softly.
"I know; I'm sorry too." He responded. "I never wanted you to find those things out like this. I wanted to talk to you,explain why it happened the way it did. I wanted to explain everything; I still do, if you'll let me."
"Of course." She said quickly.
He took her hand and led her out of the cottage. They walked closely, hand and hand. Neither of them said anything at first till Xerxes took a deep slow breath.
"I feel as though to explain what you saw I have to go back to the beginning. I'm not sure how much you remember about me and our species."
"Our species?" She asked.
"Yes we're called Immortals. We're faster, stronger, and more dangerous than a regular Vampire could ever hope to be. We were given special gifts; gifts that made the Vampires jealous, envious. Your father was like us, hence why he ruled over us. He was a fair and noble King."
"Then why kill him?" She asked softly.
"One day your father called a meeting between the strongest Vampire Kings. My father, his right hand, was asked to join the meeting. It was there that they decapitated him."
Jasanna let out a small gasp of shock.
"With my Fathers death your father declared war on the Immortals. My family, along with the rest of the Village, fled immediately. When we left,we settled here, and here is where I trained. For years I was taught to be the strongest and most deadly warrior. I honed my combat skills and my magick and became stronger than them all, your father included."
"Your father hunted us down like animals and one by one he slaughtered my friends, my family. On my 21st birthday, my Uncle deemed me King of the Immortals and told me the decision to go to war was on me so I decided to rage. I gathered our men and stormed the Castle. They had no idea what was coming for them and that's how I wanted it. When we broke through the doors your Father was standing there, sword in hand, as if he was expecting me. I charged him and removed his head from his shoulders, as he did to my father."
They stopped walking and stood under a rather huge, weeping willow tree. Jasanna stood there her face void of emotion but her mind was a wreck. Her Father, the man she Idolized, was a Killer. He started a war against his own. He was a monster.
"Why did he choose war?" She asked softly.
"I've always thought it was because of what I was to become. Not only was I the first born male from my father, I was born with ice blue eyes. In our legends the Last male born with my eyes was more God then man. He was lethal and cold. Your father feared what I could've done, what I could've become so he wanted me gone."
It felt as though her world had shattered. "Do you know why my Mother took my powers and my memories?"
"I wish I could answer that for you." He said caressing her cheek.
"I can." A voice said.
From the shadows a beautiful woman with White hair and moss green eyes approached them slowly.
"My name is Tryamon. I'm Queen of the Fae and I was very close with your mother growing up and most of our Adulthood. She changed when she Married your father." She said sadly.
"I remember you." Jasanna said calmly. "You used to join my mother and I on our trips out of the Kingdom. She called you her Sister."
"We were raised as sisters, her mother and mine were best friends and raised us to be the same. Ayesha was free spirited, fun even. She was also very powerful, like your friend here." She nodded her head towards Xerxes.
"Your mother was meant to be Queen of our realm but she chose to marry your father instead. When you were born you had different colored eyes one gold like your mothers one bright green like your fathers. It made you different, unique and powerful. You are the only Hybrid between Immortal and Fae. Your father harbored a deep fear for you would grow to be; what your magick would be capable of."
"So she wiped my memeory because of what i could've been??" Jasanna asked.
"Seems like your Mother and Father didn't want anyone else's power to be stronger than theirs." Xerxes said, a little matter-of-factly.
"But why not just tell me or train me. Why make me forget part of who I am?"
"Much like the legend from the Immortal village, though we had something called a Dark Fae. They were seen as a danger to our kind because of the power they held. Our power comes from Gaia, mother Earth, and her elements. The Dark Fae drew power from things not of this realm. Their magick was a magick of Gods."
"So she's like me?" Xerxes asked.
"Yes, if anything more powerful." She responded. "Since you were meant to take over as the King of the Immortals and She was meant to become Queen, you both were meant to be betrothed to one another. Your mother made you forget so you wouldn't be able to reach your full potential and become the Queen she was supposed to be."
"So my mother is a monster and she's worried about me becoming one too." Jasannah scoffed. "If she was afraid of what i could've become then, she should be much more concerned now."

~~~~back at the castle~~~~
The Queen anxiously paced in her room, her mind in shambles. She stopped and stood in the middle of the room and looked out her window. She moved towards the window, sat down and began to pray.
"I come before you, Great Ones, I am lost. I seek guidance, I seek answers."
The air around her began to shift and the wind blew cold through the window. She looked around frantically, knowing what these signs meant. A pure silver figure materialized in front of her. The Figure's face and body began to solidify. The Queen took notice of the anger on the Figure's face.
"I am Arabella, Great Ancestor of the Fae. Why do you call out to me, child?"
"Your Grace, I've called out to you for help."
"Help with what?"
"My Daughter, she's run away with a traitor, she's been brainwashed into thinking this man is the love of her life when i know he is just poisonous. He is evil, your Grace. Will you help me?"
"No." The Figure started to turn away from her.
"Why?" The Queen asked.
"Do not Question me!! I am not one with this world but that does not mean I am gone from it. I am one with Life, breath infinite, A true Celestial. I've watched you for years. You've hidden who she truly is, who she's meant to be as if you are ashamed of her power."
"I could never be ashamed of her power."
"But you could fear it. You could fear that she'd be better than you, stronger."
"No.."
"Yes. You know she is what you were to become and that, my child not only strikes fear into your heart but jealousy."
"No!"
"You Dare Lie To Me!!! Your God!! You have lost touch with the true way of the Fae. You know your Child is destined to become the Queen you never could!! YOU KNOW SHE IS TO BE THE MOON CHILD!!!"
"NO!!!" The Queen screamed. Her body crumbled beneath her. A series of broken sobs fell from her throat.
