Jasannah flew for hours, yet her wings never ached. She finally felt free. She flew over a beautiful meadow filled with tall green grass, evergreen trees, and purple flowers that reached her knees. The whole thing was surrounded by mountains. She landed in the middle and ran her fingers over the purple flowers, sighing heavily.
"How did it get to this..." She thought.
She looked behind her and a low growl vibrated in her chest. "I'm never going back"
"Well that's no good." A woman's voice said.
Jasannah jumped, causing her wings to ruffle.
"Who are you?" She asked.
"I'm Camilla, this is my meadow. Who are you?" She asked, smiling.
Jasannah looked at the woman. She had thick unruly blonde hair, light blue eyes, pointy ears, and small fangs. She was wearing a white and red dress with long sleeves and gold trim.
"I'm Jasannah." She answered, smiling back. "Princess of..."
"The Forgotten Kingdom..." The woman said, holding her hand over her chest. "What the hell are you doing so far from home?"
Jasannah shrugged. "I guess I just needed to breathe... This meadow called out to me so I landed here."
The woman nodded. "Well then, let's get you into something more comfortable." She said, holding her hand out.
Jasannah slowly took her hand, unsure why she trusted the strange woman so quickly. The woman reminded her of someone she just couldn't place her finger on.

**Back at the Castle 3 hours later**
**Queen's Throne Room**
"What do you mean you can't find her!!?" The Queen bellowed, her anger echoing off the wall.
"We checked the entire Castle, w-we called the car service. My apologies your Highness, she's missing." The Guard stuttered out.
The Queen stepped down from her throne, anger clear in her vibrant gold eyes.
"Your Highness, that isn't all... X-xerxes is missing as well..." She said...
The Queen stopped in her tracks. "No... Find Adonis!"
"He's gone as well,My Queen." A strong dark skinned man stepped up. "What are your orders?"
"W-who are you?" The Queen stuttered out.
"I am Cypher, your Highness, Adonis's second in command." He said, fisting his hand over his chest and bowed.
"Find my Daughter..." She whispered, a single tear ran down her cheek.
"Of course; Men, Women, let's move out."
The Queen slowly walked to her throne, hand over her chest.
"My Daughter..." "You haven't really been acting like a mother..." "Maybe I had this coming..." "You've hidden everything she is, poked and prodded her until she was your version of Perfect..." "What if she finds out the truth... Who she really is..."
"NO!" She yelled...
"SHE WILL FIND HER TRUE SELF! SHE WILL BE THE MOON CHILD!!"
The voice was all around her, screaming.
"SHE WILL! SHE WILL! SHE WILL!"
The Queen covered her ears and crumbled to the floor, guilt flowing through her.
"Sh-she can't find out..." The Queen whispered.
She stood and fixed herself, wiping the tears off of her face. "I won't let her." She said, her tone as cold as ice.

Jasannah was wearing a soft white dress with blue hues, and she was spinning in circles, laughing. She was surrounded by young children, who were playing with her wings. They were trying to grab the soft black feathers, she avoided them by running and spinning.
"Children! Time for dinner!" Their mother called.
The kids booed and begged to stay out longer but their mother shook her head no. The children sighed in defeat, waved goodbye and promised they'd be back tomorrow. Jasannah smiled brightly at the children and waved back.
"Cute as all hell but they're evil." Camilla said laughing.
"This place is amazing. Why have I never heard of it?" Jasannah asked, grabbing a freshly made cinnamon roll.
"We, as a people, have preferred to stay hidden. Don't get me wrong. We love our kingdom, but ever since your father was killed..." Her voice choked. "Things haven't been the same." She said swiftly wiping a tear.
"You knew my Father well?" Jasannah asked.
Camilla siffled, "Very well." She said smiling. "The three of us used to get into so much trouble when we were younger. I was crushed when I heard how he died." She said.
"The day is still fresh in my mind." Jasannah said.
"Oh, dear child, don't cry." Camilla said
Jasannah brought her hand up to her face, she didn't even realize she was crying.
"I'm sorry... I just..." She chuckled coldly. "I found the man that I love... The man I have loved for most of my life... He was rotting away in our dungeon for, I don't know, 3 centuries." She said, smiling darkly... The woman gasped.
"That's not the worst part, my mother made it so I couldn't remember him, among other things..." The room began to grow very cold, while the clouds outside were swiftly disappearing. "And it turns out the man I love, has magick, magick stronger than my mothers. His kiss.." She said, touching her lips.
"His kiss unlocked everything about me. Including the horribly vivid image of him... Killing my father." She finished, her whole body shaking.
Camilla touched her arm. "So you know... You know what really happened?"
Jasannah chuckled again, sending chills down the women's spin. "King Xerxes Amadeus Alacard, killed my father out of cold blood."
Camilla's face turned, Jasannah sensed the change in her mood. She looked the woman in the eye.
"That's not what happened... Is it?" She asked.
"No... No it's not." A familiar voice said from behind her.
She turned around swiftly, though her world seemed to slow down. He walked through the door standing tall but his face hung low
"Xerxes..."
