Jasannah's anger flourished. She paced angrily back and forth.

"Kitten, please stop pacing. You're ruining the grass." Xerxes joked lightly.

She stopped and sighed heavily. "What do I do Xerxes? What can I do?" She asked helplessly.

"You just found out you're the strongest Fae Queen of the century as well as an amazingly dangerous hybrid. You can do whatever you want. What do you want?"

"I want to make her pay for everything she's done. To you, to me, to them."

"Then that's what you shall do my Queen." He said, fisting his hand over his heart and bowing respectfully.

Jasannah smiled wickedly.

"Ah ah." Adonis interrupted

Xerxes sighed and faced him. "What now?"

"While all those things are very true the young Queen has no control over her magick nor do we know how much of it she can handle at one time. She can't just storm the castle."

"Why not?" Xerxes and Jasannah asked at the same time.

"Gods you two really are meant for each other" Cammie joked as she walked back towards the cottage.

They briefly smiled at one another while Adonis continued to explain. "Because by now the Queen knows he escaped and has somehow implicated me in it. The Queen also knows we have a rather large village full of Immortal warriors. There's also the not small issue of my second in command, Cypher."

"That asshole!?" Xerxes exclaimed. "Who's Cypher?" Jasannah asked.

"An Asshole as my nephew proclaimed. He was the Head Knight before I completed my training. Once I was anointed as Head Knight he was knocked down a few pegs, socially and egotistically. He's going to be all over this just so he can try and regain his status." Adonis explained.

"So what kind of training do I need to do?" Jasannah asked.

"Endurance training. We're going to see how much magick you can do and for how long you can do it for."

"Okay when do we start?" She asked.

"No time like the present." Adonis smirked.

He threw his seemingly empty hands towards her but what hit her was powerful. It knocked her back several feet and she hit the ground hard leaving a small crater in her wake.

"Dude what the fuck!?" Xerxes yelled.

"Oh relax, she's fine; aren't you!?" He bellowed down to Jasannah.

She stood up slowly and whipped some of the dirt from her dress. She scoffed softly and decided an aerial attack might be best. She stretched her wings high and flew into the night sky. She raised her hand and summoned her own unique power. The ball of power she held was a glowing red. She threw the blast straight towards Adonis forgetting Xerxes was still standing next him. She tried to warn him and Adonis ended up jumping out of the way.

She landed relatively close to where he was and touched the ground beneath her. Her eyes glowed a deep green as the roots from the trees that surrounded her tore through the Earth. She pointed her other hand in his direction and the roots followed, wrapping themselves around him tightly. He tried to wiggle his way out but to avail. She approached him slowly, her eyes still glowing. Several peonies sprouted from the thick branches, one blooming right in front of his face. Xerxes chuckled lightly, covering it with a light cough.

"I win." She said, picking a flower and twirling it in her hands.

"I think you should go up against someone more your speed." Trya said.
