The storm beat against the castle's walls, threatening to bring the place down. The Queen stood frozen in the middle of the foyer. She could taste the power behind it that made her spine tremble and her stomach turn; she could recognize the power of Magwanah being used in full effect. At that moment the doors blew open and at the entrance stood Lillian. She looked terrifying, her silver locks billowing in the wild wind and her eyes the shade of the very lightning flashing behind her.

"Where is my granddaughter!?" She shouted.

"So you've heard the news." The Queen said flatly.

"Yes and I want to know what's being done to find her!"

"Stop shouting at me! This is my Kingdom and I am still your Queen!!" Ayesha yelled.

"Yes exactly! You are the Queen so why have you not deployed armies to find your only child!" She screamed back.

"She's run off with that, that thing!! What's at her core has been awakened! Even if we did find her she'd never return and he'd never let her go, not without a fight, a fight which none of us are prepared for."

"And whose fault is that hm??"

"What exactly are you implying Lillian?"

"I'm not implying anything. If you and my son wouldn't have savagely murdered that boy's father he would've never retaliated in such a brutal way! If you weren't so afraid to lose your precious crown your daughter would still be here and if you weren't such a bloody coward you'd go find her yourself!!"

"I'm not a coward. She's with them, Lillian, you know what the legend foretells!"

"Screw the legend!! I want my granddaughter!"

"Then you go find her!!" Ayesha screamed.

Lillian's hand fell on her chest. "I knew it... I knew you didn't want to find her!"

"Of course I don't! Finding her means war, it means innocent lives lost. It means hell for us all!!"

Lillian shook her head solemnly. "No Ayesha, it means hell for you. I will find her and I will walk her through those damned gates myself."

"Do that and I'll make sure your life is the first I take."

"So be it." She turned and walked away.

Once the doors were closed Ayesha screamed.

*Lillian's Pov*

"Heartless... I never should've let my son marry such an empty soul" She thought to herself.

The rain had stopped but the sky still groaned and crackled as she ran to the all black SUV that sat just beyond the gates. When she reached the car her door man opened it from the inside.

"Where to Miss.Lillian?" The driver asked.

"Have you ever heard of the Hidden Kingdom?"

"Only rumors Miss, is that where you would like to go?"

"Yes. I believe my granddaughter is there and there are a few things I would like to discuss with her and her friends."

"Is it safe?" He asked.

"For us it will be." She said smiling.

*Jasannah's Pov*

"I want this mess cleaned up by the weekend. Am I understood?" Camilla said walking through her field. "And I want every flower to be replanted Miss. I-Can-Control-Plants-And-Weather and Gods know what else." She said smiling at Jasannah.

"Yes ma'am." She said, trying to smile back.

Jasannah walked through the field and really took in what she had done. She had released a power she never knew she had and for once in her life she felt like she did something right, despite the mess around her. Adonis and Trya seemed proud of her and Xerxes couldn't stop smiling at her. The Immortal people of the village began to gather mid fight and now they were surrounding Adonis and Xerxes asking them questions about her.

She wasn't quite ready for big crowds and a lot of questions so she walked farther into the field until the lights from the houses faded from her view. She waited until she was alone and completely surrounded by darkness to allow herself to crumble. Her knees gave way and she wrapped her arms around herself. The tears came heavy and unprovoked and her body shook with every sob. Her heart ached with a mysterious pain.

Everything had happened so fast; she had made such an egregious mistake when fighting Trya. She had released such raw power and killed someone; though she was able to bring her back, the very thought of hurting someone she cared about shook her core. Soon her tears began to slow and she sat back on her knees. She looked to the sky that was now clear of her beautiful storm. She took a few deep breaths, wiped her face and climbed to her feet.

She turned around to walk back to the village when she heard a twig snap just a few feet in front of her. She began to summon her power when she caught a whiff of warm vanilla and a sense of calm washed over her. She turned back around and saw her grandmother emerge from the tree line. She took off in a sprint towards and wrapped her arms around her.

"How did you find me?" She asked.

"I knew your father would've led you here. These were his people at one point, our people..."

Jasannah pulled away from the embrace and looked at her Grandmother.

"What's the matter?"

"There are things that I need to tell you. Things about your Fathers past..."

"There's a lot I need to tell you too, so much has happened in one day I feel like my mind is going to implode. Come on, we can talk when we get back to the Village."

"I don't think they'll be too happy with me my dear."

"It'll be okay, I'll make sure it is.".
