— Y/N's POV —

"Hey Y/N, why do you dislike me so much?"

I stopped walking.

He turned around to me, I started at him with wide eyes.. I could feel my face getting a bit warmer.

"Okay, tell me another time" he grinned and pat my head before we continued walking.

After 5 minutes of silence we reached my house.

The light was still on, means my mom is still awake.

"So.. you're coming to visit us tomorrow again?" I couldn't really see his face because of the dark but the shape of his smile was still visible to me.

"Nope, I'm only going to see Kenji" I unlocked the door "I'll see you with Kenji then" he gave me a little wave before stuffing his hands in his pockets and walking away.

I sighed out and opened the door to go inside, only to see my mom already standing at the entrance.

"Uh.. hi mom!-" "You sure that he's not your boyfriend?" I locked the door behind me before answering "Yes, I'm sure! I wouldn't date someone like him" I walked past her and was about to go upstairs.

"And.. when were you gonna tell me about Kenji?" I froze.

"Huh?..." "I'm not deaf, Y/N, since when have you been visiting him?" I turned back around to her, she seemed to be extremely mad.

"It's.. just the second day.. but we were gonna visit each other more often" I put my hands behind my back and played around with my fingers - I was extremely nervous.

Mom gulped "Didn't I tell you to leave him alone? Didn't he say that to you himself?" "No, we made up!"

Moms look changed. "You should stay away from your brother, he's dangerous" she crossed her arms "He's not dangerous! How can you say that about your own son?"

I didn't mean to snap at her like that but she needed to hear it..

"What's with your face then?" She slowly approached me "My face?" "Your nose is bleeding and you look like you got hit"

Shit.. she noticed.

"That wasn't Kenji's-"

*SLAP*

I was cut off by mom slapping me across the face.

I didn't know how to react so I just looked at her in shock.

"Y/N, I don't want you hanging around your brother" She stared at me like she despised me. It was quiet for a few seconds before she spoke up again "Either you cut off contact with him or you're getting out of my house!"
