3rd person POV:

"Hey, Dean?" Chucky said, looking at his "friend."

"Yeah?"

"Why were you so hostile towards that guy? Your face said it all. Just by the way you looked at him. Is everything ok?"

"I-I don't want to talk about it. I'm fine." Dean tried to avoid conversation completely. His cheeks flushed pink with embarrassment after Chucky brought up Roy. Obviously this doll had a past he didn't want anyone knowing about. By the mysterious ways he acted.

Chucky knew something wasn't right. But at the same time he didn't want to bug him into saying anything he didn't want to.

Dennis had a look of sadness, looking at Dean now and then.

Shit what I did do? Chucky asked himself.

It was still dark outside, making the moon the only light, besides the lights on in the apartment buildings.

"This is gonna be a long ass walk," Chucky muttered to himself. He couldn't even remember how long it took them to even get to the prison.

"I hate walking," Dennis complained. "Can you give me a piggy back ride, Dean?"

Dean raised his eyebrows at his friend. "Really, bro? I'm already tired as it is."

"Pleassseee?" Denny even showed puppy eyes to make Dean give in. "You know you're a lot stronger than I am."

The red head rolled his eyes before sighing. "Alright, dude hop on."

With a smile, Dennis hopped on his friend's back. Dean jumped up to make Denny a little higher onto him. "Is that ok?"

"Yes."

In a long time, Chucky couldn't help but smile. This sight made his heart melt. He didn't realize how long he was looking at them for. Dean gave him a questioning look.

"What is it?" he asked, unsure why Chucky looked so heartfelt.

"No, nothing," he replied. "Let's get going."

Lena's POV

Why did everything have to be so difficult? Came out here for no damn reason. As tired as I was, I didn't want to go home. Just a little walk around the city would make me happy. So I went with my gut and continued to venture everywhere.

My hair constantly kept getting in my face from the wind. It wasn't so windy, but it was enough to make my hair go wild. Getting frustrated, I put it up in a ponytail.

Last time I checked, it was October, almost November. I started to not do things on Halloween because I wasn't great in friend groups. I always felt like the one who was left out or the person no one really paid attention, too. But it's whateves, i don't really care anymore anyway. It'd be cool to see something unusual in this city for once.

The Lakeshore Strangler was killed a few years back, so that killed the "fun." No one lived in fear anymore though. I didn't have much to worry about because he rarely ever came around my part of the city. Also by how my mom was so careful of her daughters walking around with a serial killer on the loose. Thank god he was gone. I would never have had anymore freedom to roam if he was still out there.

I turned the corner of the street before walking on a long sidewalk again. Here and there I felt like I heard things. Not like voices, but the movement of feet or tree branches rustling. It was honestly kind of nerve wrecking being outside at night alone. Especially in this city. There were a lot of creeps and pervs. Just like that guy from earlier. I shivered whenever I thought about it. Thinking about it forced me to turn around to see if anyone was secretly behind me.

A knife was always in the back pocket of mine. Trust no one. The people that you learn to trust always stab you in the back or suddenly betray you, like ok? That was learned from my sister's experience. I was thankful nothing happened to me like that, but you never know what can happen sooner or later in your life.

A sudden movement on the rooftop above caught my attention. I looked up to see nothing. "Maybe it was just something else," I mumbled. I continued walking, not paying mind to it.

Then again, another sound, like footsteps. It sounded like it was coming from the alleyway now. Never have I ever, or will I ever, go inside somewhere so dark and dangerous. Then I swear to you, I heard whispers. It was the voice of a man talking to someone else. Another voice responded, then another. In a total of three people. There could be others, but that was all I heard.

Who was in there? I began to feel my heart beat intensely. This was not good at all. The voices came closer... And closer.

Right when I was just about to scream, a hand clamped my mouth from behind.

How do you guys like 3rd person POVS? :/ I wanted to try something new, but i almost put "I" once in a while. Those won't be used all the time, only for emotional scenes or anytime I feel it needs to be used.

And guess what? :D

I have decided to make this story last a LOONNNGG time. More than 50+ chapters. Maybe even past 100 chapters!! 😝 A LOT will happen in that amount of writing. I already have a bunch of ideas which I really want to tell you guys, but I'll give clues so no spoilers will be given.
