3| Percy's Mother Teaches Him Bullfighting
After we found Percy and his mother, we raced through the night along the dark country roads, wind slammed against the Camero, rain lashed the windshield. I kept looking out the back window and every time I did I see... it.
I raise my right hand, pointing at the Minotaur, and I swing my wrist downward. Then a lightning bolt came from the sky and struck the Minotaur, making it loose balance and killing it. Then another one came charging at us again. I stare at it.
Y/N: 'These things don't give up.'
Grover: 'Y... yeah.'
Percy: 'What things?'
Y/N: 'Quite, man. Can't we go any faster?'
Mrs Jackson: 'No, this is as fast as we can go.'
Y/N: *sigh* 'I see, I could have ran here with you guys. And also.'
I snap my fingers and a lightning bolt struck, but missing the Minotaur because it dodged it. I just sigh, I then sense it picked up its pace.
Y/N: 'Well, now it's running a whole lot faster.'
Grover: 'Great.'
Percy: 'What's running, and how can it run over 120 miles per hour!?'
Y/N: 'I mean, I can run at the same speed as light. I could go faster but I'm too lazy to do so, because there is none who can give me a challenge.'
Percy: 'Wow.'
Grover: 'Yep, he's the Son of Z-'
The weird bellowing noise rose up again somewhere behind us, closer than before. That Minotaur is still on our trail. Then our car flipped and it rolled.
I kick the door, sending it flying into the darkness, I grab Percy and Grover, I look around and I spot the beast running towards me. I jump into the air with them and I float there.
Mrs Jackson: 'Listen, Y/N take care of Percy.'
Percy: 'No! You are coming with me.'
Grover: 'Food!'
Y/N: 'Can we go! That thing is running at me! That thing hits like Mule!'
Percy: 'Um, It's right behind you...'
Y/N: '... Fuck...'
I then get hit in the back, making me let go of Grover and Percy. I am sent flying through a tree, I get up and I shake my head. I look up to see Percy and Mrs Jackson carrying Grover up the hill.
The Minotaur picked up the Camero by the torn roof, the chassis creaking and groaning. He raised the car above his head and threw it down the road. It slammed into the wet asphalt and skidded in a shower of sparks for about half a mile before coming to a stop. Then it blew up. I ran up the hill so fast it looked like I teleported there.
Percy: 'Y/N! Help us get Grover down the hill!'
Y/N: 'I will take him there and I am coming back for you.'
Percy: 'What about my, Mom?!'
Y/N: 'She can't enter, the barrier won't let her enter, only half-bloods can.'
Percy: 'I... I...'
I didn't let him finish, I grabbed Grover and ran down the hill towards the house. I stop in front of it and Annabeth opens the door, but she only sees Grover on the ground. She looks up to see me disappear over the hill.
Annabeth: 'Y/N.'
I get back to where Percy was and I see, Mrs Jackson running down the hill, with the beast following her, which she turned into yellow bust. I run up to the Minotaur, and I punch it in the cheek, the impact made a sonic boom with lightning dancing around me and the beast, and the ground below, shattered while the beast went flying for a mile, before coming to a stop.
Y/N: 'Alright! Let's see if you can handle my power!'
It then made a roar and it charged at me, I lift both of my hands, then I throw my hands downward and ten's of lightning bolts shoot from the sky and they only target the Minotaur, killing it in the process.
Percy and I walk down the hill, both of us are tired, him from fighting, and me from being awake to late at night, I mean it's midnight. I get to the front porch, I fall onto a chair almost falling asleep. I then see Chiron and Annabeth looking at Percy.
Annabeth: He's the one. He must be.'
Chiron: 'Silence, Annabeth. He's still conscious. Bring him inside... along with Y/N.'
Annabeth: *blushes* 'Wait, Y/N!'
She turns around to see me, practically falling asleep. I see her quickly walk up to me and that's when I fell asleep. Curse you, God of Sleep.
