4| Percy Play's Pinochle with a Horse

I wake up in a bed; I look to my left to see Annabeth, sleeping on my side. I chuckle for a bit, until I see Percy in another bed across the room, as well as Grover, who is looking at me with a smirk.

Y/N: 'What got ya smirking?'

Grover: 'Oh, you know, the fact you have Annabeth Chase, sleeping with you, like it's normal.'

Y/N: 'She just care's about me, Grover. I do as well, very much.'

I rub her head with my right hand, her pure blond hair is smooth and wavy, and she smiles in her sleep, which makes me smile with love. Wait love? Am I in love with, Annabeth?
Yes, I am. But I think she loves Luke more than me, so I just ignore my feelings.

After two days, Percy decided to wake up in deck chair in the front porch, with a blanket over his legs and a pillow behind his head as well.
On the table next to him is a glass of nectar. He went to grab the glass, and he almost dropped it.

Y/N: 'Careful now, we don't want Grover pissing himself when he cleans your mess.'

Grover: 'Hey! I mean... your right, I would piss myself.'

Y/N: 'Hahaha!'

Percy: 'Hahaha! Oh, man! That was a good one.'

Y/N: 'I know, right?'

Grover: 'Laugh it up, guys! Percy, I got you something's you would want.'

He placed the shoe box on Percy's lap, as he opens it there is the Minotaur's horn.

Percy: 'I didn't kill it, Y/N did.'

Y/N: 'You can have it.'

Percy: 'The Minotaur.'

Grover: 'Um, Percy, it isn't a good idea-'

Percy: 'That's what they call it in the Greek myths, isn't it? The Minotaur. Half man, half bull.'

Grover: 'You've been out for two days. How much do you remember?'

Percy: 'My mom, is she really...'

Grover: 'I'm sorry, I'm a failure. I'm... I'm the worst satyr in the world.'

Y/N: 'Oh my Gods, there he goes again!'

Grover: 'Oh, Styx!'

Thunder rolled across the clear sky. As he struggled to get his hoof back in the fake foot.

Percy: 'It wasn't your fault.'

Grover: 'Yes, it was. I was supposed to protect you.'

Percy: 'Did my mother ask you to protect me?'

Grover: 'No. But that's my job. I'm a keeper. At least... I was.'

Percy: 'But why...' *getting dizzy*

Y/N: 'Don't strain yourself, here.'

I give Percy the glass of nectar, and help him with the straw. He drank the entire glass.

Grover: 'Was it good? What did it taste like?'

Percy: 'Sorry, I should've let you taste.'

Y/N: 'Pfff!'

Grover: *eyes widen* 'No! That's not what I meant. I just... wondered.'

Percy: 'Chocolate-chip cookies, my mom's, homemade.'
