5| Percy Becomes Supreme Lord of the Bathroom

Finally, it's been a while after Chiron and Percy decided to start the tour. I was just walking behind them, everyone moved out of the way when they saw me walking with them. I growl in anger, just because I'm the Son of Zeus, doesn't mean I'm a disease. I'm a living being just like them. Maybe it's because, the fact that my father gave me the greatest gift of all.
Oh, yea, I have the power to control the weather, you know, rain, wind, clouds, lightning, and snow. But there is a limit, all except lightning. My father has given me my very own bolt, yep, my very own Master Bolt. I don't really need it, I can control lightning with on limit, without using the bolt. I just use the bolt like a weapon, that's all.

Percy: 'What's up there?'

Chiron and I looked at where he is pointing and we lost our smile instantly.

Chiron: 'Just the attic.'

Percy: 'Somebody lives there?'

Chiron: 'No, not a single living thing. Come along, Percy. Lots to see.'

We walked through the strawberry fields, where campers were picking bushes of berries while satyr played a tune on a pipe.

Chiron: 'It pays our expenses, and the strawberries take almost no effort.'

Percy: 'Grover won't get in too much trouble, will he? I mean... he was a good protector, really.'

Chiron: 'Grover has big dreams, Percy. Perhaps bigger than are reasonable. To reach his goal, he must first demonstrate great courage by succeeding as a keeper, finding a new camper and bring him safely to Half-Blood Hill.'

Percy: 'But he did that!'

Chiron: 'I might agree with you, but it is not my place to judge, Dionysus and the Council of Cloven Elders must decide. I'm afraid they might not see this assignment as a success. After all, Grover lost you in New York. Then there's the unfortunate... ah... fate of your mother. And the fact that Grover was unconscious when you dragged him over the property line. The council might question whether this shows any courage on Grover's part.'

Percy: 'He'll get a second chance, won't he?'

Chiron: *winced* 'I'm afraid that was Grover's second chance, Percy. The council was not anxious to give him another, either, after what happened the first time, five years ago. Olympus knows, I advised him to wait longer before trying again. He's still so small for his age...'

Percy: 'How old is he?'

Y/N: 'Twenty-eight.' *smirks* 'And it's not "What's nine plus ten: twenty-one", okay.'

Percy: 'Please don't bring that up again.'

Chiron: 'What?'

Y/N: 'Oh, the one teacher asked him what's nine plus ten, and he said twenty-one.'

Chiron: 'Oh my...'

Percy: 'Gods, damn it! Wait, did you just say twenty-eight!?'

Chiron: 'Satyrs mature half as fast as humans, Percy. Grover has been the equivalent of a middle school student for the past six years.'

Percy: 'That's horrible.'

Chiron: 'Quite, at any rate, Grover is a late bloomer, even by satyr standards, and not yet very accomplished at woodland magic.'

Percy: 'That's not fair, what happened the first time?'

Chiron: 'Let's move along, shall we?'
