The more she watched him, the more she was certain that Jaehyun had feelings for Lisa.
After the class ended, Mark called out. “Lisa, make a trip to my office.”
“Teacher, do you need me to go to your office as well?” One of the girls chimed in.
Mark smiled. “The next time you make a mistake, I’ll call you over.”
“Then, I better not go.”
Lisa really did not wish to give Mark any attention.
However, after their lesson, she realised that his teaching skills weren’t bad. His French was a lot more accurate than Dong Yuzhu’s.
Furthermore, he tended to be humorous in his method of teaching and easily earned the students’ liking.
After being called by a teacher, Lisa could only stand up to head to his office.
The moment she stepped in, she realised there were no other teachers present. Mark, then, shut the door.
Even the blinds were fully closed.
Lisa lifted her brows. “Mark, what are you up to?”
She really did not take him as a teacher.
Mark pointed at the chair by the office table. “Sit down.”
“That’s a teacher’s seat. It’s not appropriate for a student like me to sit there.”
Mark leaned close. A dazzling smile appeared on his stunning face. “Lisa, don’t be so serious. Look, for the sake of you, I’ve even whitewashed my past. I’m choosing to be a morally upright person.”
“Is that so?”
She smiled coldly. “As someone who has lived in hell for most of his life, don’t you find the human world to be uncomfortable?”
“It is uncomfortable.” Mark winked at her intimately and tried to embrace her. “But for you, I will quickly adapt to it.”
“Scram!” She shoved him aside. “Get straight to the point. What exactly do you want?”
She refused to believe his nonsense about turning a new leaf.
Mark was not upset about being shoved aside. “I am formally informing you that I… like… you. I am chasing you!”
“Aren’t you afraid that Jungkook will deal with you?”
He appeared ready to die as a martyr. “Your fiancé is rather frightening. But for you, I am willing to overcome any obstacles.”
She found his confession extremely insincere. “Scram, scram, scram!”
She headed for the door and turned back to tell him. “Don’t carelessly call me to your office again.”
She opened the door to see that Head Ma Yongting was coincidentally coming in. “Eh? Lalisa, why are you in the office?”
“I called her over.” Mark responded seriously. “Lalisa is the worst student in Year 2, Class 3. I wanted to privately counsel her.”
“That’s good.” Ma Yongting’s expression was encouraging. “Teacher Wilson, it’s comforting to see that you care so deeply for your students.”
As Lisa’s appearance was ugly, no one would misunderstand or doubt his words.
Lisa was aware that ‘Wilson’ was Mark’s surname. He had introduced himself in class, but expressed that he preferred for everyone to call him ‘Mark Tuan’.
“I don’t need counselling.” Lisa responded and left without looking back.
She had another class left but was too lazy to attend it. Instead, she headed for the school dormitory.
After turning around the corner in the school garden, Jaehyun stepped out from behind a tree to obstruct her path.
She shifted to the left, and he shifted to the left. She shifted to the right, and he followed her to the right.
“Jaehyun, did you take the wrong medicine?” She frowned unhappily.
Jaehyun glared at her and began gloomily. “Lalisa, did you take a look in the mirror?”
She narrowed her eyes. “Speak clearly. What do you mean?”
“Reflect on your own appearance. Take a clear look at your ugly face.” Jaehyun hated that he could not be direct.
