The woman instantly had the feeling that if she did not leave now, she would lose her life here.

She was frightened into hastily picking up her clothes. She covered her nude figure carelessly and began putting her clothes on whilst running out the room. Within a few moments, she was gone.

Jungkook had seen through the entire situation. His frigid, sharp gaze landed on Mingyu. “So you assumed that the woman earlier was Lisa. Your guts aren’t small. You actually dared to have thoughts about Lisa!”

“I absolutely wouldn’t dare…” Mingyu immediately knelt on the bed.

He did not pause to care for his image as he began kowtowing to plead for mercy. “Cousin, please let me off! I was wrong, I was really wrong!”

Jungkook glanced at his pitiful, naked figure as he grovelled for forgiveness. A hint of disdain appeared in his distant, cold eyes. “Even killing you would dirty my hands!”

Mingyu immediately cried with his nose dripping. “Thank you for your mercy, Cousin. I was really seduced by Lalisa. If you don’t believe me, please look. These are the messages she sent me!”

He rolled off the bed and searched through the scattered clothes on the floor for his phone. There were several messages from Lisa’s number. In the messages, she disdained Jungkook and professed her love for Mingyu. She also asked him to meet her in room 615 in this hotel.

Jungkook scanned the messages coldly. His jaw was clenched tightly and his figure was surrounded by a dark, enraged aura.

Based on his intelligence, he naturally believed that these messages did not come from Lisa herself.

What made him angry was that someone had intentionally schemed for Lisa to lose her body to Mingyu. This could not be forgiven!

Eunha was about to shout, ‘Good!’ in response to Mingyu’s actions.

She was certain that Jungkook would assume Lisa was a fickle woman after reading these messages. Even if she had escaped this scheme and Mingyu had not managed to touch her, her image in Jungkook’s mind would definitely be affected.

Before she could say anything to exaggerate the situation, Jungkook’s frigid cold gaze landed on her. “Why have you been standing outside the room? Did you know that the room has been drugged?”

Eunha had been worried that if she inhaled the drugs and Jungkook refused to touch her, she would have to look for some other man to resolve the problem. Wouldn’t that be a significant loss for her?

She did not mind sleeping with other men secretly. However, she absolutely could not allow Jungkook to know about it.

Otherwise, how was she supposed to climb onto the seat of Madam Jeon? Mingyu was considered an outsider in the Jeon family and was not even worthy of being called ‘CEO Jeon’. Even if he had a wife, the woman would never be known as ‘Madam Jeon’.

In the Jeon family, Jungkook’s wife was the only person who had the right to be addressed as ‘Madam Jeon’.

“Of course not.” Eunha appeared shy. “Earlier, Mingyu was in the middle of doing that… As a girl, and as a virgin, it was too embarrassing for me. I didn’t dare to enter.”

Her tone then changed and her expression appeared especially pitiful. “How could I have known that the room was drugged? You’ve misunderstood me!”

“Is that so?” The corner of Jungkook’s lips twitched upwards cruelly. “Was it also a coincidence that you were waiting for me outside the hotel?”

“I was shopping nearby and coincidentally met you.” Eunha lifted the shopping bag in her hand. “Here are the new clothes I bought earlier. When I saw you entering the hotel… as you know well enough, I have strong feelings for you. I’ve loved you deeply since I was young. I saw that your expression wasn’t good and that you appeared to be in a rush. I only followed you out of curiosity.”

The cold mocking light in Jungkook’s expression worsened. His eyes were as sharp as a pair of knives. “You sure aren’t shy about using an excuse that would only fool a three years old.”

“I really didn’t lie to you.” Eunha appeared as though she was on the verge of crying in grievance. “I was just curious…”
