“I would love the flowers to be here.” Tzuyu appeared slightly envious. “Even if these beautiful roses aren’t mine, the sight of them pleases my heart.”
Although Shuhua was unhappy with Lisa, she did not wish to nitpick at such a pleasing bouquet of roses. She coldly responded. “Do as you like.”
“May I ask if this is Miss Lee Lalisa?” A young woman dressed in an employee’s uniform knocked against the dormitory door.
“I am.” She asked in confusion. “What is it?”
“This phone was bought as a gift for you. A customer has paid for it. Please sign and receive it.”
Shuhua ran over to see. “Wow. It’s a DX8. This phone is worth $1,600.” She shot Lisa a look of jealousy. “What kind of luck do you have? There are people gifting you flowers and a phone.”
Tzuyu glanced at the old phone that Lisa was using. “Lisa, your phone is so old. You must have used it for several years now. It even breaks down every so often. It’s time you replaced it.”
“That’s true.” She nodded.
However, there was a special reason behind her current decision to keep it. She already had money and would already have replaced it otherwise.
She asked the employee. “May I know who bought this phone for me?”
The employee responded quickly. “It is from Mr. Jeon Jungkook.”
“Wah! Lisa, your fiancé really treats you too well.” Tzuyu sighed. “The roses must have been from him as well. Otherwise, you wouldn’t have placed them so nicely in the pail.”
Lisa frowned and responded directly to the female employee. “I cannot receive this phone. Please take it back to your shop.”
“Mr. Jeon said that it’s for you. He’ll be upset if you don’t accept it.”
“He is a bastard. He has been clinging onto me and there’s a possibility that he might even do something to harm me. Please take the phone back.”
“But…” The employee hesitated.
Lisa added. “If something happens to me after I receive this phone, will you take responsibility?”
When the employee heard this, she finally left with the phone.
Shuhua mocked her. “Lalisa, you should learn to be content. Jeon Jungkook treats you so well. He even bought you flowers and a phone. How could you say that he is a bastard and that he wants to hurt you?”
[Are you content, Jealous creature?]
“Don’t run your mouth off if you’re lacking in brain cells.” Lisa sneered coldly. “The flowers are from Jungkook. But the phone definitely isn’t.”
When Jungkook wanted to buy her a car, he went ahead and bought ten luxury-branded ones.
He was generous to the point where the receiver would vomit blood in excitement.
She had seen the brand logo on the unopened box which the employee was holding. It was an imitation product.
First of all, based on her deduction, Jungkook would never buy such a cheap phone for her.
Secondly, even if Jungkook decided to be a little thrifty, he would never buy an imitation product.
Thus, she was certain that someone was using Jungkook’s name to buy her a phone. The person was trying to trick her into accepting it.
“If it isn’t from Jeon Jungkook, who is it from?” Shuhua was extremely curious.
“I don’t know.” Although Lisa responded this way, she headed for the balcony and watched as the female employee left in a sedan car.
She memorised the car plate number and sent Jackson a message: [Arrange for someone to follow the woman who is driving away from my school dormitory. Her car plate number is XX412. Find out who exactly purchased a phone from her.]
He responded with an ‘OK’ emoji.
Thirty minutes later, Jackson responded with a photo.
