Princess Aurora dreamed many times that a handsome Prince would find her. She wished to live in a world with good fairies, true friends and to no longer compete or make jealous an evil fairy. Maleficent and her spells were long gone. Aurora was a Sleeping Beauty no more, but this peaceful vision wasn't a dream at all. It was real even though their Royal parents had planned years earlier that Philip and Aurora would marry. The young couple had fallen in love not as a Prince and Princess. He was just a Boy in the Forest to Aurora. And she was just a girl from the neighboring Glen to Philip. It was important for Philip to ask for Aurora's hand in marriage himself. She, of course, said yes. Word of the Royal Wedding spread far and wide. It was the biggest announcement since Aurora's homecoming. With the wedding Celebration only a day a way, the kingdom set off to prepare. Prince Philip made sure his steed Samson had a sponge bath. (That's horses are washed down when hoses weren't invented yet.) bAnd he promised him afterwards a bucket of oats and a few carrots afterwards. Even King Hubert and King Stefan found a job to do tasting some of Fauna's treats. Aurora had helped her with the cooking by being the one to help her understand the recipe.
"You look so much like your Mother did on her Wedding." Fauna complimented Aurora.
"Where did Mom, go, Fairy Godmother, Fauna, I asked the other two they refuse to tell me." Aurora admitted.
"You're not ready yet for the truth the bitter sweet truth, child." stated Fauna. She was holding an old photo ablum of old white and black pictures it was over four woman playing in the castle grounds, Merryweather was not amongst them she was still trying to succeed as a tooth fairy stand in. But Aurora had seen the tiny portraits in the hall of this Kings Legendary Hall of Friends. Flora and Fauna were in the photo, and sitting next to them were Maleficent as mere joyful girl hiding her black wings from everyone knowing others might assume she was a witch from favoring only mostly black clothes and that could be considered a bad omen by some for humans lots of them hate anything that is covered in black but not Queen Leah the First who sat beside her in the garden sewing embroidery. Embroidery that her best friends tapestried into it. Maleficent never ever revealed she was magical to anyone but Leah or so they thought.
Aurora knew wherever her Mother was watching from as the story unfolded that she was proud of her. Days ago she recalled a flashback she saw repeatedly multiple times of her Mother here in her room.
"Everything seems well in your daughters' cautious hands, Your Majesty." Aurora no doubt knew this Fauna conversing with her Mother.
"Yes, it does, Fauna, I'm glad my daughter has come safely home." Leah blew her a kiss.
"Fauna do you know something?" inquired Aurora.
"Is this one of your random visions again, Your Highness?" asked Fauna putting away the photo book. Aurora humphed and picked up her hairbrush and brushed her golden locks golden as the dawn itself. I will leave you, now Aurora."
Aurora jumped up as if she felt something familiar was watching over her. It was as if the mere thinking of her Mom brought her presence here to hug her only treasure she ever got to have a choice to love.
"Mom, I will find you, somehow, someway, I promise." vowed Aurora immediately. It had taken awhile for Aurora to get to her wedding day, she had to relearn how to become a Princess surprisingly easy for her because of the visions, she saw her lessons, new the answers to questions before they were even asked or directed to her a none noble or unroyal person who had no knowledge of Aurora's naturally blessed visions might have mistaken her for a know-it-all Princess, she even picked up village duties easily. Let's be honest you can't prepare for a wedding in a day it was only just half a month ago Aurora told her staff the wedding gowns they brought were too fluffy to fit in her closet. And refused to have closet clean out as Philip liked all her peasant dresses and shooed the maids calmly coolly collected and always being polite out of her room. Despite being very good at picking up every detail of being a Princess easily Aurora still admitted anxiety to the Fairies that she didn't know how to be a good Princess. The Fairies told her to stop doubting herself snd ignore that nonsense saying she'd be the finest Princess the Kingdom has ever seen. It was hard to not be nervous today as she wasn't allowed to see her boyfriend till the wedding began due to some lousy old superstitions or so she thought bound to a traditional wedding ceremony. That past day, Philip came with a splendid idea asking and inviting her to do something hardly royal and more casual. "Would you like to go back to take a walk in the woods to get away from the Royal Wedding planning duties, Aurora."
