She is a fairy born without wings reason unknown. She rules the kingdom of Merripolita next door to the winter realm of Norberg. Merripolita is a mix of humans and fairies. Many fairies are free to practice their magic. Flora, Fauna, Merryweather and Miss Nettle were born in this kingdom and like Vesta also blessed by Northla.
Hilda daughter of the Tooth Fairy named Leepaakshi see her Origin story and the rest of the Guardians Origin in my Dreamworks Rise of the Guardians book on here that is a companion and crossover story to this one. Hilda is one of the few fairies born in the real world and becomes successful at becoming at Guardian herself.
