"Yami! Yami, wake up!" Someone yelled.

"Hmm?" I opened my eyes only to see a blurry figure hovering over me. "Yes?"
"Are you awake?"

I rubbed the sleep out of my eyes. The blurry figure belonged to none other than Casimir, my older brother. I couldn't bring myself to call him brother yet, but I was closer to him than almost anyone else in this world.
"Cas?"

"Finally, you're awake. You were shaking violently and mumbling in your sleep. Did you have a nightmare?"
Nightmare? Oh right! I'd gotten information about the enemy that I needed to tell Cas and Rowan pronto!

"Cas, I have something really important I have to tell you."

"What?"
"I had a dream about the enemy. They plan to att-"
"Shh. Let's bring this conversation to Father's study."

We hurriedly made our way to Rowan's study, not even bothering to knock before we barged in.

"Father, we have an urgent matter!" Casimir announced.

"Urgent? What is it." Rowan was automatically attentive.

"I had a dream about the enemy. They plan to attack Earth in three months. I don't know where, but I do know that they will attack with at least one hundred class three and class four evolved monsters." I explained.

"Class four and three evolved monsters? Those fools, have they been researching ways to evolve monsters? They're already strong enough as is, especially for Earthlings!" Rowan growled. "We need to start preparations. Three months isn't a long time."

He then turned to me. "Yami, have you had dreams like this before?"
"Well, they started a little while ago, right before I graduated high school. I thought they stopped, because I hadn't had them the past few weeks, but apparently I was wrong." I stated.

"Maybe..." Rowan began.
The rest of his sentence he spoke to himself. Was there something wrong with my dreams? I mean, it obviously wasn't normal, but I was part fairy part human. Nothing's normal about me. I'm even the prince of another's kingdom. Surely it wasn't something too abnormal. Weren't prophets a thing?
"Maybe what?" I prodded.

"It's nothing. Thank you for reporting this to me. I'll be leaving the castle soon so this will be my goodbye."

"Leaving? Father, what do you mean?" Casimir inquired.

"It's nothing of much importance. If it means anything, I'll send a letter back to the palace."

"Will you be back before the summer is over?" I asked.

"Hopefully, but most likely not. Are you planning to return after the summer?"

"Yes. My friends are probably worried sick, and I have to start College."
Rowan wrapped his arms around me and hugged me for a solid minute.
"Well Yami, I wish you the best of luck in your training. Also, Casimir; don't forget to assign Yami a personal guard when he leaves. Maybe that friend of his? Anyways, I hope to see you boys soon."

"You too, Father."
"See you."

After one last hug, Casimir and I sent Rowan off on his trip. Dinner was rather lonely without Rowan at the table, with his boisterous laughs and cheerful gaze. I was also stuck on Rowan's earlier comment, or rather non comment. What had he been about to say about me and my prophetic dreams? Was it a good or bad thing that those dreams happened? I had no clue why I had them, but so far nothing bad had come of them, not really.

Even if I had been against foes I knew nothing about at the time, I ended up saving Cas' life, which led to me finding my biological family. Life here was as close to paradise as I believed I would ever reach, and I was at peace. The time spent with my new family was more precious than many things in my life. Sure, I would be distraught if my friends no longer existed, but my family held an important part in my heart. An irreplaceable piece belonged to them.
