The Real Hybrid

Chapter 3

~Scarlett POV~

Before I went to bed, I decided to go find the toilet in this place. I went out the door and walked down the corridor for a while before I walked straight into a hard chest.

"What are you doing out past curfew, you should be in your room" the student say's. Well I guess he's a student because he's in the student dorms. "Excuse me I can be out here if I want and I could say the same to you" I retorted. I could see he was getting mad and it was fun. "You can't talk to me like that! Do you even know who I am" this guy is so arrogant. "Okay listen her sunny, I don't actually care who you are. So would you mind getting out of my way, so I could find the toilet. Yeah, thanks very much" and with that note I walk off to find them. I leave him looking stunned at what I said and finally find the toilets. I get back to my room and get in bed. I stare up at the ceiling before drifting off to sleep, dreading the day of classes.

I wake up with someone knocking at my door. Rebekah bursts through the door and goes straight to my wardrobe. She pulls out some black workout clothes and chucks them onto my bed. "Get up and get dressed, breakfast is soon." I get up and put the clothes on and we go down to breakfast. We get down and grab our breakfast and sit down on a table with Robb, Liam, three other girls and two other boys. "This is Seth, Thomas, Cassey and Lexi. This is Scarlett." and she points to each one of them.

"Hi" and I smile at each one of them. Then a lady dressed in a flowery dress goes up onto the platform at the front of the hall. Rebekah nudges me and points to the lady "That's Olivia, she's the king's secretary. She makes all of the morning announcements" then Olivia starts to speak, she says the morning announcements and then she says the King want's to welcome all of the new students. Everyone goes quiet and he walks on stage, "Shit" then everyone stares at me and his eyes meet mine. Then I just shrink into my own skin and everyone transfers their attention to the King.

"Welcome back to the new school term, I would like all the new students to come to me at the end of breakfast to collect your class schedules and your uniform. Thank you" and he then walks of the stage. Rebekah, Robb, Liam, Seth, Thomas, Cassey and Lexi all walk off to their lessons. I go over to the King and Olivia whilst he hands all the schedule's and the uniforms to the new students, finally he gets to me and he's about to hand me the same schedule's and uniform as everyone else. But then he swaps the black uniform with a different black one with a red strip going down them. He smiles at me and I go off to my room to change into them. God that smug smile he had when he handed me my uniform was so annoying and now I'm in his class.
