Chapter 13

~Scarlett POV~

I was in the woods, it was cold and a cool breeze rushed down my back. I saw something fluttering in the wind and started to walk towards it. The bushes rustled behind me and then a twig snapped, I spun right round facing the way the noise came from but yet there was nothing there. I continue walking forwards and the object begins to come into view, a white sheet is flapping in the wind. I walk up to the sheet and pull it back. I scream at the top of my lungs, the person I was falling in love with was dead on the floor. Finn had two bite marks in his neck; the blood had been drained from his body. I knelt beside him and place my head on his chest and let my tears flow out of me. "No no no" I scream again and again before tears come streaming down my face without stopping. My head was pounding over and over again and then I woke up. It was all a dream; it was all a dream - thank god. The door is wide open with a crowd now forming outside. Rebekah, Scott, Cassey and Liam are all surrounding me with worried looks on their faces. Rebekah and Liam are kneeing beside my bed trying to comfort me I wipe my tears from my face and give them a weak smile. "I'm fine, you don't have to stay here" I say to them. Rob is by the door trying to disperse the crowd that was now forming. Most people have moved away from my door before a bombing voice comes for the corridor. "What the hell is going on here, why aren't you getting ready for class?" I recognize that voice, it's Finn. I sigh with relief that my dream wasn't real, Finn gets to my door way and faces me. Liam walks up to Finn and starts speaking " we heard screaming coming from somewhere and we followed it to Scarlett's room. We still don't know what happened to her but she seems really upset. The screaming attracted a lot of people, so Rob tried to get rid of them." Rebekah is giving me a hug whilst I ease drop on Liam and Finn's conversation, she's pushing me to tell her what happened but I just keep ignoring her. "Okay, get ready for class. Scarlett don't go to your classes today" Finn says looking straight at me, he didn't even come into the room to see if I was okay. I bowed my head and everyone left to get ready. I swung my legs around, so they were dangling of the side of the bed and stood up. I grabbed a book from under my bedside table and walked over to my bay window to sit down. I begin to reading 'The Great Gatsby', the morning went on and there was a hive of activity going on outside. I get to the end of the book and start to stare out my window, watching the lesson's on the training fields. I didn't go to breakfast or lunch so my stomach decides to let out a massive grumble. I twiddle the key around my neck in my fingers debating whether to raid Finn's kitchen. My stomach lets out another loud grumble, so with that I make my way out of my room and though the corridors until I reach the corridor which no one is aloud through. I look around to make sure no one can see me and I put the key in the lock and twisted. I wandered through the corridors until I got to the double doors that I was dragged through before. I walk past the double bed and through the doors that led into the dining room slash living room. I go a single door and into the kitchen. This kitchen was beautiful; it had these amazing cream granite worktops. I open the fridge and cupboards and start to look at something to eat.
