Chapter 9

~Scarlett's POV~

It's been a week since I made a public apology of what happened and most people have forgotten what I did. Rose's injuries were all healed and she was back to her old self again. Ethan had been telling me what I did was the right thing to do and he was pretty sure I was going to compel everyone. I woke up and got out of bed to check my phone. Oh crap! It was it was 8 o'clock and classes were going to begin in 30 minutes. I grabbed my uniform and two towels from my cupboard and ran to the bathroom. I wash my body and hair before stepping out of the shower to dry myself. I changed into my uniform and went back to my room to dry my hair. Once my hair was dry, I put my long wavy hair in a high pony tail. I looked at my phone once again to check the time, lessons started in 10 minutes - there was no way I going to eat breakfast in that time. So I went straight down to the gym and waited for the others to arrive. Mia walked into the gym with Robb and took a seat next to me.

"Why weren't you at breakfast?" Robb asked me. "I woke up late and didn't want to be late for class for class, so I skipped breakfast." I tell him. "So you haven't eaten. You know that's really bad." He sighed "I know it's bad, I'll eat after class okay?" he nodded and me and turned away. Everyone was sitting on the benches, when Finn walked in.

"So today we will be using the punching bags, instead of fight training with people. Go find a bag and start practicing." he says pointing to the punching bags. I walked over to punching bags in between two girls. I start training on the punching bag but not long after my eyes started to get blotchy. My head was pounding and then everything went black. I could hear familiar voices speaking, "she hasn't eat any food yet today" I think I heard Robb say. My eyes fluttered open and I am met with some of the most beautiful dark brown eyes. The eyes move away and I sat up straight, I'm still where I was when I collapsed. Those eyes were Finn's eyes - his eyes were filled with anger and worry. I tried to get up stumbling at first, people tried to stable me but I pulled my body away from their grasps. Finn turned away from me to face the class they were surrounding me, "I will be taking Scarlett for something to eat. Carry on training. If I get back and you're slacking, you will be punished!" He said in his Alpha voice which scarred everyone in the room. He grabbed my arm and draged me out of the gym. I was stumbling behind him, but he carried on dragging me through the corridors until we came to a single door separating the rest of the rooms from it. We went through the door and arrived in a corridor, this corridor was different - it had painting and pictures of the Royal's. I was in Finns living quarters. We came to another door and he pulled me inside. This room had a king sized bed in with silk covers on, the room had a double door to onside and a single the other. I presume the single door was to the bathroom; he took me through the doors into a grand dining room.

"Sit!" he growls at me, I take a seat at one end of the table. At the other end Olivia was doing some work. "Olivia tell the cooks to make Scarlett something," Olivia faced me and began to get up. "Of course Sir," she exited into a room of to the side - not long after she came back with a stack of pancakes. I could hear my stomach rumbling, I wouldn't lie I was so hungry. She placed the pancakes in front of me and collected her work. I looked at the pancakes and started shoving them in my mouth. Mmm these were good, Olivia had gone and I looked up to see Finn laughing at me. "What?" I said with my mouth full.

"Nothing," he stated looking at the papers that Olivia had given to him. I finished my pancakes and sat in my seat quietly. Finn looked up and saw that I was finished. He took the plate into the same room Olivia emerged from. He came in and sat back down in the same seat he was in before. "Now are you going to tell me why you didn't eat?" Finn asks me. I start to twiddle my finger and look down at my lap. "I woke up late and didn't want to be late for class" I look up from my lap and his eyes meet mine. Gosh those eyes are so amazing; wait I can't be thinking about this he's the King. Stupid Scarlett! Stupid Scarlett!

"You may go back to class now I will be back soon." I start to walk out through the doors before he starts to say something. "Oh before I forget, you are coming with me to a masquerade ball next week!" I feel like it was a command and not a question so I just nod. I left and got back to the class, with 10 minutes left until it finished.
