Chapter 9

Sueda's POV*

Nandito kami ngayon sa hapag kainan at tahimik na kumakain. Hindi parin ako makarecover from what she've done yesterday.

"Well.. To be honest dear. You scared the hell out of me. It's like you came from another century."

Galit na tinignan ko ito. Is she insulting me!

"Ohh sorry, May I remind you that, I came from an orphanage and it isn't fortunate enough to buy us luxury clothes or things. Unlike you, LUCKY you." I sarcastically said.

Sabi ko at pabagsak na binitawan ang hawak kong kutsara't tinidor at tumayo na.

"Sueda" pagtawag niya. Pero nagtuloy tuloy lang ako sa pag akyat sa hagda.

Nawalan na kasi ako ng gana..

Pagpasok ko sa kwarto, nilock ko agad ang pinto and I can't help myself but to crying..

"If--If only mom and dad was still alive. I don't need to experience this. I--I don't need to be here. " Umiiyak kong sabi sa sarili.

Little did she know that Mrs. Suarez was outside her door, listening to her. She felt guilty but her pride told her she shouldn't.

"So what If she feel offended?. I'm just stating the fact. She looks like a retared woman wearing that clothes of her."she said.

At nilagpasan na ang kwartong iyon para pumuntang office nito.

Laura's Suarez's POV*

When I entered my office, My eyes landed to the ton of files laying on top of my table.

Napahilot ako ng sintido ko. Hindi na matapos tapos ang mga papeles na trinatrabaho ko. Kinuha ko mula sa suitcase and laptop ko and nagsimula ng magtrabaho. Nag iinput lang naman ako ng mga datas when suddenly, my phone rung.

Roman's Calling..

Tsk. What did he want this time?

"Hello.."

"Spill it Roman" I replied.

At hinubad muna ang suot kong Anti-Rad glasses.
