chapter 35: Gender reveal party

Kian POV

Today's my gender reveal party and I can't wait to see to Mia and her friends faces when they see the whole set up. Liam said he has a surprise for me and I can't wait because who knows what if he wants to marry me.
Ava and I have been preparing ourselves because our guests are here already.

Liam POV

The gender reveal party has already started and I'm just waiting for Kian's surprise to arrive. Mia is also at the party and I must say it's awkward.
I was busy playing with Mian when I received a call that Kian's surprise is at the gate and I went to fetch it. I came back and Kian asked me to say my speech.
"First of all I would like to thank you all for coming to this gender reveal party today to be honest I have been tricked into thinking that Kian's baby is mine, well it's not my baby actually the real father is here, the only gift I can to Kian's baby is the real daddy not me thanks" I said and Kian started crying running away
"Thanks dawg, I can't believe Kian was going to take my baby away from me because of money" brandz said

*flashback*
I left my car at Quans place because we went ti the club together so he dropped me off at my house.
When I got to my door I overheard Kian talking to someone telling them to stay away from and her baby and that she has found someone who will take care of them.
I decided to snuck in her room while she was asleep and stole her phone and went through it, I stole the number of the person who's been sending her texts messages.
The next day I met brandz who's the baby daddy and that's when he told me everything
"so what's up with you and Kian?" I asked
"uhm so Kian and I have been seeing each other for the longest and I fell in love with her, so things started to change when she told me she was pregnant and I was happy ... so this one time we fought and she told me the baby she's carrying is not mine but I knew she was lying then few days later she ran away" brandz said "I've been trying to reach out to her but she doesn't wanna give me chance to be part of my child's life" he continued
"Don't worry we'll sort this mess out" I said

flashback over

Kian POV

I have been at Ava's house crying because of what happened at my gender reveal. honestly I didn't expect anything like that to happen to me. I have been ignoring brandz for over a month and I don't know how he found out where I was. Now I have no choice but to just go back to brandz to apologize so we can co parent.
honestly this time I'm giving up on Liam. everytime I feel like my things with Liam are on the bright side they tend to slip away. I GIVE UP.
