15. Take Down Day

A DAY LATER

Ever since Lisa got her promotion everything has been a lot more relaxing lately. But at the same time, it's a lot more serious. There was just a few more days before the court hearing was held and we needed evidence to prove Lisa was innocent.

Our first ever win being the entry into the other side of the building, aka where the illegal drug business ran. The moment Lisa was granted the permission Lisa had asked Suho to give her a tour of the place. He was hesitant, but he had no choice.

It was worse than we expected.

The place was like a whole different world. They had built a whole new big empire here, larger than any of us had expected. And a lump of fear erupted in my throat to realise that it was just a part of what was a bigger industry. This wasn't even the South Korean Headquarters, where they actually ruled over.

The place wasn't grand with an expensive interior like in  Jaehwan's office, instead it was the other way. The interior was dark, yet colourful with all sorts of Graffiti on it with lamps hanging over like spotlights . Instead of cabins like on the other side, this one had tables spread across a huge hall with loads of paperworks and other things sprawled across it. What was more nerve wrecking were the people that worked there. It was nothing like how she had seen in any other offices. The people there were wearing nothing that looked like office wear, instead they had tank tops and t-shirts with tattoos littered all over their chest and arms. Hairs styled in various hairstyles with striking colours of hair. Everyone was a different type, either lounging around in the room, working, talking, smoking or running around in a hurry, some of them absolutely built and strong while some were dull and skinny with hollow eyes probably due to the continuous flow of chemicals injected into their blood.

Lisa's eyes wandered around the room, when Suho snapped her out of it. She followed him into another room which was very much different than the last one. This was smaller, brighter and cleaner with white walls and sparkling tables with test tubes and other glass vessels of which Lisa didn't know the name of and stayed littered over. The colourful liquids and gases coming from it gained all our attention that we didn't notice when Lisa bumped into someone.

It was a girl with red hair and tattoos and she glared at Lisa through her goggles. The workers in this room ran around in white aprons and gloves. We couldn't help but notice how contrasting It was to the crop top and fishnets with high heels she wore. "If you are not here to get something done, Move! Some people have a job to do other than gawking around and disrupting others!" She yelled and left even before Lisa could speak anything.

"You heard her, Let's move." Suho said, smirking at her speechlessness. The next they went towards a stair that led underground. "This is where we store our stocks." He said, and the sight of the room made all of us gasp in our seats. The room was huge and we could barely see the end of it. Huge sacks and boxes were stacked on top of each other everywhere in the room with people going around taking counts. Lisa had been shown the godown where the legally manufactured products were stored and this was definitely bigger.

"That's a lot. Is it safe to keep so much here? What if the government search team comes and you won't be able to move it soon enough?" Suho just waved his hands as if it's nothing. "We usually don't keep so much stock with us. It's usually moved and restocked within six hours. This is all because of the deal you saved today. Why do you think Jaehwan easily gave you entry here? All of this is worth 50 million dollars. This will be shipped off within a week, so don't worry about it. Let's go."

Suho turned around and started to walk away while Lisa followed dumbly, her head processed the amount of information it received in a day. "You wouldn't have to get involved in most of the things happening here. Jaehwan will probably appoint you to deal with the clients, since you seem very good at that." She nodded. They walked a few more and spotted a few cabins actually located with few of the higher employees in it.
