Going out after long

Ae was careful while driving car and played soft romantic music. Pete looked out of the window and he could see the shops being flooded with gifts and many other stuff to celebrate valentine's day. Pete couldn't believe that it's been a year already.

"Ae, you know... I used to hate going out during this time because it always made me feel lonely and I would envy those couples that would be happily enjoying everything. Especially the part of going to mall because there would be games and I could see the couples being all lovey dovey and it would make me feel like my life was all empty." Pete confessed.

"Now, you won't feel empty anymore because I will always be with you." Ae said while reaching forward and holding onto Pete's hand. Pete smiled at Ae and leaned closer resting his head on Ae's shoulder. Ae smiled as he began to drive with one hand while the other hand was still holding Pete's hand. That feeling of having his loved one beside him made Ae smile. He had been through a lot and now, he knew all too well that he will never let go off Pete's hand.

Finally they arrived at the mall and Ae parked his car into the parking lot before stepping out. Pete was all excited because he was finally going out after a very long time. He wanted to see the changes but more, he wanted to spend his time with Ae.

They walked towards the elevator and soon stepped inside which took them to the fourth floor. As the doors opened, Pete was met with a beautiful view as the place was decorated to celebrate Valentine's Day. He was left in awe looking at the place as Ae pulled him out of the elevator.

He could see the couples gathered around to play games and the host instructing them something. But rather than the usual feeling of jealousy that he always felt, this time he felt happy looking at them. He smiled as he looked at the couples and the way they held each other's hand just like Ae was holding onto his hand.

Pete and Ae were quietly passing by the place heading towards the clothes section when the host approached them. "I would like to invite you to join the game." The host announced and the focus was shifted to the couple. Ae looked at Pete and whispered, "Do you want to join?" Pete nodded shyly and blushed furiously. This was the first time they would do something as couple in front of so many people. Ae was not hesitant to hold Pete all this while as the host ushered them to play the game.

Soon, the first round begin and it was a couple work. One partner was asked to stand behind the line drawn while the other people were queued up at a little distance and blindfolded. As soon as the music would start the blindfolded person would start walking and their partner were supposed to guide them. The couple who could manage to hug before the time elapsed was going to be declared winner.

Pete was made to stand with the other six people while Ae was queued up with the blindfolded ones. The music blasted and everyone began to walk. It was hilarious how the others were getting mistaken and colliding against each other. But Ae's ears were only listening to one voice. That voice which he had missed so much and he would never ever forget. All the other sounds were tuned out even the blarring of speaker except for the sweet melody calling his name. Without any doubt he knew he was moving in right direction and then, there he was hugging his beloved.

People began to clap seeing the way Ae was able to find Pete amidst the other noises. Pete gently pulled off the blindfold on Ae's eyes and smiled. "You were great." Pete commented. "No... I just knew that I want to hear that voice that I have longed so much. It was never a game for me but the desperation to reach you." Ae confessed.

Pete could feel the sincerity in Ae's words. It was something that he longed to hear. The whistle blew indicating the end of the first round and there were only two couple who won the game. So, the second round was going to be the last round and the one winning it was going to be crowned as the Valentine's couple.
