Pete was left all stunned still trying to process what was happening and how to react when Lian rushed into his cabin. "What is happening?" he inquired as he looked at the stranger. "What is he doing in my cabin?" the stranger asked.

"It should be him asking you, what are you doing in 'his' cabin?" Lian shot back, his jaws clenching together trying to suppress his anger. "Did you forget that this cabin was built for me? Everything inside belongs to me." the person replied gesturing towards the things placed inside the office.

"They 'belonged'.... Let me clear, 'belonged' to you... But not anymore." Lian said. "Huh?! Are you that angry with me that you are kicking me out of my office?" the person asked looking all shocked. "Firstly, it was you who resigned even though I asked you, pleaded or more clearly, begged you to stay back and not to leave. But you chose to do what you wanted. You left without caring about anything or anyone." Lian said, feeling hurt as he let those words out.

"I am sorry love... I know I was wrong but I didn't think at that time. I just didn't want to lose the opportunity." The person tried to explain. "But at what cost Kuea?? By breaking our engagement? By ruining the friendship and reputation of our families? You may forget it but I won't and will never. You didn't even bother to see your father when he was admitted in hospital because he got stroke. That all happened because of your selfishness. It's God's grace that he was saved and is now doing fine but I can't accept you anymore. So, it will be better if you leave." Lian said being all emotionless.

"Lian... I know you love me... You still want me in your life." Kuea said stepping closer trying to reach out his hand towards Lian. "Don't!! I don't feel anything for you now. Why do you think that I would give this cabin to someone else? Because I 'moved on'... Moved on from what happened. And don't worry about our families. They too have forgotten that someone like you ever existed. You already know about it since you saw how our parents reacted when you returned. You walked away without caring to see what are the things that broke behind you. All that you have now is because you chose it. And I will be rather glad if you leave now. I don't want you troubling Pete." Lian cleared.

Kuea was left in shock seeing the person whom he loved and who understood him the most choosing to kick him out. The noise was loud enough to draw the attention of other employees and soon Sammy and ChaAm came rushing towards the cabin, all worried for Pete. When they arrived, they too were baffled at the unexpected appearance of the person.

"Lian, I know you still love me and this person is here only to distract you. I swear he wants your money and ones he gets it, he wouldn't even care for you." Kuea said directing his words towards Pete. "ENOUGH!!" Lian shouted while slamming his fist on the table making the loud sound echo through the room. "Enough. Is. Enough.... I won't tolerate a single word in disrespect to Pete. Better apologize before I loose my temper and do something that you will regret." Lian threatened.

Kuea was taken back by the way Lian spoke. He never expected Lian to side with someone else beside him. But all his hopes went down when Lian chose Pete over him. "I can't believe that your choice can be this cheap." Kuea laughed while saying these words.

"People like you shouldn't talk about class. You are the one who is cheap because you chose to ruin everything that you had for your selfish motives. Pete is rare gem that you wouldn't be able to find so easily. If I see you messing around with him, you will lose whatever little chances you have left. Right now, it's best if you leave and let everyone do their work." Lian spoke

Pete was getting really uncomfortable seeing the conversation. He wasn't used to being center of attention and mostly being the reason for fight. And right now, things were going down just because of him.

"Kuea khrab... It's not what you think..." Pete tried to explain. "Shut up you bitch. I know every well what you want." Kuea shot back. That was enough to stir the anger inside Lian and break all the restrains. He had enough and he couldn't bare anymore the way Kuea was treating Pete.
