THE WAY [3]

⭐️ CHAPTER 1: GRIEVOUS ⭐️

Nefari's POV

"Good job on dodging that ship, R5." I said. R5 beeped at me.

"Master, Nefari, General Grievous' ship is directly ahead." Anakin said. "The one crawling with vulture droids."

"Oh, I see it." Obi-Wan said. "Oh, this is going to be easy."

"Um, correct me if I'm wrong but, didn't you say that last time?" I asked. "When we fought those traffickers last year?"

"We're not talking about that time." Obi-Wan said.

"Hey, I'm just saying, saying that it'll be easy never ends good in your book, Obi." I said. I saw more droid ships coming out.

"Oddball, do you copy?" Obi-Wan asked.

"Copy, red leader." A pilot replied.

"Mark my position." Obi-Wan said. "Form your squad up behind me."

"We're on your tail, General Kenobi." The pilot said. "Set S-foils in attack position." They flew behind us.

"This is where the fun begins." Anakin said.

"Let them pass between us." Obi-Wan said. We went through the crowd of ships.

"They're all over me." A pilot said. "Get them off my—" Static cut him off.

"I'm gonna go help them out." Anakin said.

"No." Obi-Wan said. "No, they're doing their job so we can do ours." I saw we were heading into missiles.

"Missiles." Anakin said. "Pull up." I pulled up and the missiles went past us.

"They overshot us." Obi-Wan said.

"They're coming around." Anakin said. I saw 2 missiles coming after me.

"Damn." I said. "Okay, R5, let's have some fun." R5 beeped at me. "Put all power into thrusters for 5 seconds." R5 beeped again and did as I said. I flipped a switch and pressed the red button. The thrusters let out so much fire that we went so much faster. R5 beeped in shock. I turned and flipped multiple times as I went around ships and asteroids. I saw a big asteroid coming my way. I checked behind me and saw the missiles still chasing me. "Alright, R5, on 3." R5 beeped. "1." We started getting closer to the asteroid. "2." R5 beeped in fear as he saw how close we were to the asteroid. "3!" I pushed the steering down and we went down. I saw the missiles crash into the asteroid. "Yes! Nice, R5! Good job!" R5 beeped.

"I'm hit." I heard Obi-Wan say. "Anakin? Nefari?"

"I see them." Anakin replied. "Buzz droids."

"R5, locate Obi-Wan." I said. R5 beeped and I saw it on my scanners. I flew to where he was located and saw all the droids on his ship. "Holy shit."

"R4, be careful." Obi-Wan said. "You have a—" I saw the droids rip R4's head off. "Oh dear. They're shutting down all the controls."
