Nefari's POV

"Palpatine thinks General Grievous is on Utapau?" Ki-Adi-Mundi asked.

"A partial message was intercepted in a diplomatic packet from the chairman of Utapau." Anakin explained.

"Hmm." Yoda said. "Act on this we must. The capture of General Grievous will end this war. Quickly and decisively, we should proceed."

"The chancellor has requested...that I lead the campaign." Anakin said.

"The council will make up its own mind who is to go...not the chancellor." Windu said.

"A master is needed, with more experience." Yoda said.

"I concur." Ki-Adi-Mundi said. "Master Kenobi and Master Tetra should go."

"I agree." Yoda said.

"Aye." Ki-Adi-Mundi said.

"Aye." Windu said. I noticed the disappointed look on Anakin's face. "Very well. Council adjourned."

"You're gonna need me on this one, Master." Anakin said as I walked behind him and Obi-Wan.

"Oh, I agree." Obi-Wan said. "However, it may turn out just to be a wild bantha chase."

"Master." Anakin said, causing us to stop and turn to him. "I've disappointed you both. Uh, I haven't been very appreciative of your training. I've been arrogant, and I apologize. I've just been so frustrated with the council." Obi-Wan smiled and put his hand on Anakin's shoulder.

"You are strong and wise, Anakin, and we are very proud of you." Obi-Wan said. "We have trained you since you were a small boy. We have taught you everything we know. And you have become a far greater Jedi than we could ever hope to be. But be patient, Anakin. It will not be long before the council makes you a Jedi master." Obi-Wan nodded and Anakin nodded back to him. Obi-Wan started walking away, but I stayed to talk to Anakin.

"Obi-Wan." Anakin said, causing Obi to stop and turn to him. "May the Force be with you."

"Goodbye, old friend." Obi-Wan said, bowing. "May the Force be with you." Obi-Wan looked at me.

"I'll be with you in a minute." I said. He nodded and walked away. Anakin turned to me. "I want to apologize, Anakin."

"Why?" He asked.

"I've been so distant from you when you needed me the most." I said. "And for a stupid reason, really."

"What do you mean?" He asked.

"I saw you kill Dooku." I confessed. "I was scared, Anakin...of you." He stared at me in shock. "See, I told you it was stupid."

"No, it's not." Anakin said and sighed. "I'm sorry you had to see that, Fari. If I left Dooku alive, he would have found some way to escape and kill again. You understand that, right?" As I stared into Anakin's eyes, I felt a feeling that scared me. He had darkness in him. It started a long time ago; I didn't notice it until now. But then it disappeared. I didn't see the darkness. All I saw was the child I raised to be a Jedi Master. The one I saw as my son.

"You're right." I said, shaking my head. "He would have just done the same thing again if he got out. How foolish of me to think such a thing."

"Fari, listen to me." Anakin said, taking my hand in his. "You are like a mother to me. I promise I would never hurt you...ever." I sighed in relief and pulled Anakin into a hug.

"Goodbye, Ani." I said and pulled away.

"Goodbye, Fari." Anakin said, smiling, and I smiled back at him. I patted his cheek before walking away.

"Fortunately, most of the cities are concentrated on this small continent here." The clone commander, Cody, said.

"On the fair side." Another soldier added.

"We'll keep them distracted until you get there." Obi-Wan said, nodding. "Just don't take too long."

"Come on." Cody said as Obi-Wan walked over to me. "When have I ever let you down?" Obi-Wan chuckled.

"Very well." Obi-Wan said as I got up into my ship. "The burden is on me not to destroy all the droids until you arrive." He got into his ship and we took off. We flew out of the big ship and loaded up into the boosters.

"You ready for today's adventure, R5?" I asked. R5 beeped at me and I chuckled.

We broke off from our boosters and flew to the planet. We flew down into a cave and landed on the landing platform. I opened my hatch, and I got out. I met up with Obi-Wan and we walked over to the leaders. We bowed.

"Greetings, young Jedis." The leader said. "What brings you to our remote sanctuary?"

"Unfortunately, the war." Obi-Wan answered.

"There's no war here, unless you brought it with you." The leader said.

"With your kind permission, I should like some fuel, and to use your city as a base as we search nearby systems for General Grievous." Obi-Wan requested. The leader looked at the mechanic aliens and spoke in a different language to them. They nodded and started fueling up our ships. The leader stepped closer to us.

"He is here." He whispered. "We are being held hostage. They are watching us."

"We understand." Obi-Wan said.

"Tenth level, thousands of battle droids." The leader said.

"Tell your people to take shelter." Obi-Wan said. "If you have warriors, now is the time." We bowed to the leader and he bowed to us. Obi-Wan nodded at me and I nodded at him. We both walked to our ships and got in. I looked at R5.

"Take the fighter back to the ship." I said. "And tell Cody to hurry." R5 beeped at me, worried. "Don't worry, my friend. I'll be okay. I promise." R5 beeped again. I sneakily got out and met up with Obi-Wan. We watched as our ships took off and we walked away.
