Nefari's POV
Obi-Wan carried Padme out to Senator Organa and R5.
"We'll take her to the medical center." Organa said. "Quickly." We all ran into the building.

We watched as the medical robots and aliens worked on her. A medical robot came up to us.
"Medically, she's completely healthy." The robot said. "For reasons we can't explain, we are losing her." My heart broke hearing those words.
"She's dying?" Obi-Wan asked.
"We don't know why." The robot explained. "She has lost the will to live. We need to operate quickly if we are to save the babies."
"Babies?" Organa asked.
"She's carrying twins." The robot answered. I sighed in sadness as a tear rolled down my face. R5 beeped at me in sadness.

Padme was whimpering and crying as she delivered the babies.
"It's okay, Pads." I said, petting her hair and holding her hand. "We're here for you." Suddenly, a baby cried. I looked and saw the nurse bot holding a baby.
"Ee-see-tah oy-doh." The nurse bot said.
"A boy." I translated.
"Luke." Padme named the baby. The nurse gave the baby to Obi-Wan and he showed Padme. She put her hand on the baby's face and caressed it. "Oh, Luke." She started whimpering again in pain.
"Ooh-bah, ooh-bah." The nurse bot said. I saw how much Padme was struggling.
"Hey, Pads." I said. "Look at me." She looked at me. "You can do this. You're the bravest girl I know. We won the war on Naboo because of you. We won the clone wars because of you. You can do this too. I know you can. Alright?" She nodded. "Okay, squeeze my hand as hard as you can, alright?" She nodded again. She screamed in pain and squeezed my hand hard. "Good. Good girl." Then, we heard another baby cry. I looked and saw the nurse bot holding the second one.
"Ee-see-tah oy-dah." The nurse bot said.
"It's a girl." Obi-Wan said.
"Leia." Padme named the girl. The nurse bot held out the second baby to me. I gently let go of Padme's hand and took the second baby. She stopped crying when I took her. I smiled at the baby.
"She's beautiful, Pads." I said. "Just like her momma." Padme smiled for a second before turning serious.
"Obi-Wan?" Padme asked, breathing heavily. "There's good in him...I know...I know there's...still..." She trailed and stopped breathing.
"Padme?" I asked but got no answer in return. Baby Luke started crying as tears rolled down my face. Obi-Wan looked at me with a sad look as I tried not to sob. "Padme...You can rest now...The children will be okay...We will give the world to them...I promise...Goodbye, my sister."

I stood behind Obi-Wan's chair, leaning against the wall as we discussed what would happen to the children.
