*Tango Pov*
As I blinked open my eyes, I looked down to see two hands wrapped around my stomach. I looked up to see Etho's face only a couple inches away from mine. He was so close that I could practically feel his breath on my face through the mask. As I continued to look at him, I could feel my face beginning to flush. As I snuggled back into his side, I heard a knock on the door. Walking over to the door I opened it to reveal Grian and Scar." Hey Etho, said the avian, can you come with us please"? As I followed them out, I wondered what was up. Usually, they never even wanted to look at me.
As we got further away from my room, I began to notice Scar becoming more and more nervous. The vex hybrid was glancing around nervously and his wings were beginning to twitch. As I went to ask what was wrong, I felt myself get pushed up into a wall. Grian was pinning me to the wall a fierce expression on his face." Listen, he spat, you are currently Etho's dormmate. In the past you were also one of the reasons he tried to die. If I hear you've hurt him in any way, I will kill you". I nodded and Grian released his hold on me. He gave me one more contemptuous glance before stalking off. I sighed before going back to the apartment.
When I arrived the first thing, I heard was music. To be more specific Two Birds by Regina Spektor. As I walked in, I heard singing coming from the kitchen. I walked in to see Etho singing along to the song. My god can the man sing. I leaned against the wall watching him cook breakfast. It was almost mesmerising to watch him slide across the floor whirling from the fridge to the stove. Every time the song changed Etho would continue to sing along. I was still watching him when he said from the fridge" I know your there".
*Etho Pov*
When I'd woken up(again) Tango was gone. Shrugging it off I looked over at my phone to see a couple texts from different people. Grian and Scar had asked if they could come over for breakfast. I texted back saying they could, and Scar replied saying they would bring Starbucks. With a groan I got up pulling on my shirt as I did. No sooner had I than I got a text on my phone.

With a sigh I put down my phone. Whoever that person is knows not only me but is close to Tango as well. I went to go take a quick shower before I had to start cooking breakfast. When I emerged from the bathroom I walked over to my bedside table. Wels had asked if I was free later on in the day. I replied telling him I'd meet him at the shopping center. I grabbed my phone and logged into Spotify. I clicked on one of my favourite playlists before beginning to sing. Before long I was singing along and dancing around the kitchen making pancakes, bacon, and scrambled eggs.
My ears pricked up when I felt a hot breeze enter the dorm. I heard the door shut and knew Tango was back from wherever he had been. I kept singing because if he wanted to tease me about it then fuck him. I had finished cooking everything when I finally said, " I know your there".
I turned around to find him standing in the door frame with a guilty expression on his face." Sorry, he mumbled, it's just your singing is really good". I didn't reply instead I began plating the food and putting it on the small bench that served as a table." Why so many plate's"?" Grian and Scar are coming over with Starbucks for breakfast". The second the last plate was on the table I heard a knock on the door. Going to answer it I opened it to see Grian and Scar standing there with the drinks. I led them in, and they sat down at the bench. I noticed that Tango had chosen to sit far away from them and that Grian was death-staring him.
I sat down to eat, occasionally chatting with Scar and Grian. When they finished up, they thanked me and left. I was just about to close the door when Xae and Hels came around." Hey Etho, Xae said. Me and Hels are having a party and were wondering if you and Tango wanted to come"? "That sounds great, we should both be there". " Great, Hels replied, one more thing, you have to cross dress". I nodded my head. Looks like it was a good thing I was going shopping later. I walked back in a told Tango about it. He nodded and agreed to come but something seemed off. He seemed slightly sadder and more distant than usual. I decided to invite him to come shopping with me and Wels.
When I suggested the idea Tango nodded and practically ran to the mall where I was meeting Wels. When I arrived, I saw Tango and Wels talking near one of the shops. " Hey Etho, Wels called, wanna do some shopping for Hels' party"? I nodded and with that we went shopping. We found some really nice outfits. I tried a couple on, and Tango and Wels' eyes practically widened when I showed them. I had to admit the clothes were kinda cute and I liked how the skirt kinda swished around my thighs.
Wels chose a long grey skirt and cropped blue tee. Tango chose black ripped skinny jeans and a cropped red singlet top with a long black turtleneck to go underneath it. When we finally finished shopping, we parted ways and went back to our dorms. Before Wels left, he whispered in my ear" you looked so hot in that outfit". My eyes widened and I was glad I was wearing the mask because I was definitely blushing. He grinned and walked off with Tango glaring after him.
