7: What?

Term was done. Etho let out a large sigh as he flopped into his chair. Assessments and exams had taken most of his time, Tango taking the rest. The blaze/demon hybrid was adorably clingy and always wanted attention. Speaking of Tango he walked through the dorm door. Two other people entered behind him.

"Hey Ethy, he called, come say hi to my new friends"! Etho walked over to them. "Hi, said the first guy, my name is Skizzle". Etho smiled at Skizzle as he shook hands. He was tall, with brown hair and fluffy dog ears. He was wearing a ripped vest, with a red tie and suit pants. Etho took an immediate liking to him.

He turned to the other boy and froze. " Bdubs", Etho whispered quietly. Bdubs looked up at Etho, with the same look he had given Etho when they broke up. When Etho had needed him most and he left. The moss fairy looked the same, like he hadn't changed in the four years after he left.

 Etho felt a sob build in the back of his throat. His breathing quickened and his eyes filled with tears. Tango seemed t notice his distress and walked over to him. He wrapped his arms around Etho and turned to Skizzle and Bdubs. "I'll talk to you guys later", he said softly. Skizzle nodded and practically dragged Bdubs out of the room.

Etho collapsed, clinging onto Tango for dear life. Memories flooded back to his mind. Bdubs visiting him in hospital, telling him he didn't love him anymore. Trying to talk to Bdubs about it, him yelling at him, slapping him, calling him names. It would be so easy to get lost in those memories. Remembering Scar and Grian running in, Bdubs being forced to leave.

He started to sob harder, losing himself in all the memories. He clawed at his arms leaving bloody scratches. Bdubs had called him useless, pathetic, inadequate and Etho believed every word. He struggled to breathe as he sobbed harder. Suddenly he felt arms around him. He felt hands run through his hair and a slight sizzling noise.

Etho's breathing steadily slowed as he began to calm down. Tango stroked his hair gently, whispering in his ear. " Do you want to talk about it", he asked. His red eyes glowed with concern as they met Etho's mismatched ones. Etho breathed out and explained everything to Tango.

" Oh E, Tang breathed, you didn't deserve that". Etho looked up at Tango's face and gently booped his nose. He giggled slightly at the shocked expression on the blaze/demon hybrid. He snuggled into Tango's chest and started to purr as he felt Tango stroking his fluffy ears. 

Etho's phne buzzed and he looked down to see an unopened message from Unknown. He clicked on it to discover it was an attachment.

He opened it to freeze in shock. 

"WHAT THE FUCK"?
