Hey! I hope you've had a good day so far, and I hope you enjoy this chapter! Just like with the Junko chapters, this'll be split into two parts.
Your talent
• You are the Ultimate Lawyer.
How you met
• Nobody was surprised when you were invited to attend Hope's Peak Academy as the Ultimate Lawyer. Everyone who'd met you over the course of your life knew that you liked to argue. Not only did you like to argue, you were especially good at it.
• From a young age, you were really good at understanding rules. Then, you took what you knew about those rules to find loopholes. In elementary school, when your teacher would tell you that students weren't allowed to use the restroom, you were prepared.
• You said that, while a teacher can deny a student access to the restroom if the student doesn't have a medical condition that requires access to the restroom whenever it's necessary, it could still be seen as endangering a student if it went on long enough. You also said that allowing students access to the restroom would be simple, compared to the negative media attention that could potentially come from this situation.
• In middle school, before standardized testing started, one of your teachers said that passing those tests was a requirement to move on to the next grade. You politely raised your hand and told the class the truth. Those tests weren't a requirement, since your parents could sign a few papers to opt you out of the test. Standardized testing was primarily about funding the school. Your teacher sent you to the principal's office, but you had your defense ready.
• You said that everyone in the classroom would confirm that you weren't disrespectful. You raised your hand and didn't say anything rude, you just stated a fact. Within minutes, you had your principal apologizing to you for the misunderstanding.
• Just for fun, you began to study the laws of various cities, counties, states, countries, and you even studied international law. By the time Hope's Peak scouted you, you were an expert in law. You'd somehow already received certifications that allowed you to work as a lawyer.
• You completed your first year at Hope's Peak with no issues at all. You enjoyed building bonds with your classmates, the school allowed you to work on whatever cases you wanted, and you never ran out of opportunities to learn new things about practicing law. The administration of the school was a nightmare to deal with, but that was a small price to pay. Your second year started in an absurd way, and you had no idea how crazy things would be by the end of it.
• On your first day back at school, you received a request from the staff of Hope's Peak. Occasionally, the school would ask you for help with official matters. It was mainly because the rules that Hope's Peak had to follow were made by the government, and you had the easiest time making sense of those rules.
• Recently, a school called the Ultimate Academy for Gifted Juveniles closed down. You were familiar with the institution. It was a school similar to Hope's Peak, where students who showed great talent in any discipline would receive an invitation to enroll. Due to the school closing, their Ultimate students would now be attending Hope's Peak. This is where you'd get involved.
• You were told that, tomorrow, you'd be responsible for handling all of the legal paperwork involved with the transfers. You'd have to go over everything with the other students and get them to sign the documents. It was an enormous task. You'd have to get them to sign hundreds of documents, figure out where they'd work on their talents, put together a list of anything each student might need, assign them dorm rooms, and assist the students with anything else they needed help with.
