Libber was still fourteen when it started.

It had been a normal day, why couldn't it have been a normal day?

The school had been shut down ever since the attack and she doubts that he would've let her go back anyways.

She was splayed across the couch reading when someone knocked at the door.

Ice was still in the house which meant...

She ran to the door but Ice beat her there.

They don't get many visitors up here. Understandable though, there aren't a lot of people other than maybe their new mailman that are even willing to look at all the stairs.

But a visitor was new and Libber was bored.

The door creaked open to reveal a woman with thick pointed black glasses and short curly blonde hair. She was only a little taller than Libber so probably about 5'6' with a smile that spread across her face.

"Ice! It's so good to see you!" She said throwing her arms around the bewildered master.

"Hello Amy." He said shortly.

Libber peaked her head out from behind Ice shyly.

"Oh my goshhh! Who is this?" She practically squealed to Ice.

"This is Libber, the new master of lightning."

She seemed caught off guard for a second before a sad look spread across her face "so does that mean that Annetta is-?"

Ice nodded.

"How-"

"It was a car crash, I was three." Libber replied.

"Oh... Well I'm sure they'd be glad you found someone like Ice to look after you." She smiled and Libber returned it with one of her own.

"Libber this is Amy the elemental master of nature."

Libber made a face "nature isn't an element."

Amy laughed "yeah I get that a lot but y'know what? Neither is speed, shadow, or lightning and yet-" she gestured to Libber.

Ice just shook his head. "So Amy did you finally decide on a name for your boy?"

She smiled broadly. "As a matter of fact I did! Bolobo!"

Libber cringed and Ice put his face in his hand.

"Amy, why? Why would you do that to a kid?"

"Aww come on I've got the most basic name in the history of ever you know I've gotta give him something original!"

"My parents tried that when they named me."

"Libber?"

"Nope, Liberty."

"But you said your name was Libber?"

"Exactly." Libber deadpanned and the woman made a face like she had just watched her kill a puppy.

Ice coughed loudly to break the tension. "So what has been going on with your life?"

"Oh! I brought some new tea for you to try! I actually started working at this new place it's really nice and the owner, Mystake, is so cooky in like a charming way. I love it!"

"Mm"

"But uh-" she glanced at Libber before turning back to Ice "there is something else I'd like to talk about." She seemed to think something over for a bit. "Alone, preferably."

Ice raised and eyebrow and opened the door widely for her to walk in. "Libber why don't you go speak with Lilly for a bit over the phone while Amy and I talk." He suggested.
