Chapter 2

Vic has arranged for us to work with some producer when we're in the UK. He hasn't given us much information other than that we will have a total of 3 weeks to get it all perfected. The actual music is recorded, we just need this producer to finish it all off for us.
It'll be the first time I've been back to the UK since that fortnight I spent with Charlie. She never came back to the States. Her dad died, her mom was ill and she chose to stay. I don't blame her as family comes first but it doesn't mean I haven't missed her every day. She was my first true love and her carefree ways were so liberating. I still have a photo of her. And the cat tattoo I had done for her. I know it's a long shot but I wonder if we would have time to go to hers. Probably not. To be honest, I don't think I'd know the way there anyway. I would have rang her but we never swapped numbers. We didn't see the point as we were together practically all the time. We didn't need to ring each other.
We fly out later this week and it's our first headlining tour there. It's small venues but they're all sold out, which is cool.
Mike and Jaime from university are in the band. I remember telling Charlie about how Mike's brother wanted to start a band and we did. Pierce the Veil is our name. We've released three albums so far but this new one has taken longer than expected due to our touring schedule. Now, hopefully, it'll be done and ready to release. The fans are getting excited, now they know it's in the pipeline. This tour is to give them a little taste of things to come as well as us doing some of our other bigger hits.
