Silver's Pov

I still can't believe my wish didn't work. I guess I should've known there would be a catch. I just wanted her back so badly, I guess I was to blind to think straight. I just hope that Bella never runs into her because that would be so confusing for her.

Shadow called me up and asked if the two of us wanted to meet up with his family. I told him that sounded fun and he said that he was bringing a special guest. We met up outside this cafe where I first saw him when we moved here. I was saying hi to Rouge and Shadow while Bella and Ruby talked when I saw who Shadow's 'special guest' was; Blaze.

"Why did you bring her here?" I asked him in a whisper so she and Bella wouldn't hear. He simply smirked and told me he would let us catch up. I forgot how annoying he can be. I looked at the love of my life. If she doesn't remember me, and I can't make her remember, maybe we can start over and hopefully get back to the way things were. It seemed like a decent plan to me, I just needed to apologize for what happened the other day. "Hey, I'm sorry about the other day. I didn't mean to freak you out, it's just-"

I was cut off mid apology by Blaze kissing me. I was happy but also confused. If she doesn't remember me, why is she kissing me? Once we pulled apart, she looked me in the eyes and said, "I'm so sorry I forgot you, my love."

"H-How did you get your memories back?" I asked her. She simply looked over at Shadow. He walked over to explain what happened.

"I already decided I couldn't use my wish to bring back Maria. Even if I could have, it wouldn't have sat right with me knowing I could've helped you, but didn't. So, I used my wish to get Blaze's memories back. Once she could remember everything, I filled her in on what's happened since then," he told me. I hugged my best bro and told him how much I appreciated what he did.

"Mommy?" a little voice asked. I turned around to see Bella about to cry. Blaze scooped her up and hugged her as the two started tearing up. "I missed you so much. Please don't leave again."

"I missed you too, sweetie. I promise you, both of you, I'm here to stay," she said, looking at both of us. I joined the hug and was a bit misty eyed myself. I'd been longing, hoping, praying for this moment for so long, and just when I was ready to give up on it, it finally became a reality. My family is back together, and I wouldn't want it any other way.
