Silver's Pov
A couple months passed after Blaze and I got married. I sat next to my daughter as we waited for the news. It feels like a good portion of my life has involved waiting. Weird. Anyways, I can't help but feel a little bit nervous, which you think I wouldn't, given I've been in this situation before. I guess it's just natural instincts or something.
Soon enough, the doctor came and told us we could see them. We walked down the hall before stopping in front of the door we were about to enter. "Are you ready?" I asked Bella. She nodded her head and we walked in, greeted by the sight of the love of my life cradling our new baby boy.
He looked a lot like me. We all were so happy to meet him. We decided to name him Ben. As I held my son in my arms for the first time, I truly felt like everything had worked out perfectly. Sure, there's been some bumps along the way, but to compare where I started with where I'm at now, things couldn't be better.
I'm not sure what happens next from here. Someday, the kids will be out living their own lives, starting their own families. I hope I do a good job preparing them for when that day inevitably comes. Whatever happens though, I know that me and my family'll be just fine, because nothing can keep us apart for long.
