It was the boys first day of High School. They walked through the gate and into the school, excited to begin the next chapter of their lives.

Dazai took a deep breath and said, "It feels like yesterday we were still kids in elementary school, but here we are. We're high schoolers now."

"Don't go getting all sappy on me, Osamu," Chuuya responded.

"You know me. It's what I do," he said with a smile.

"Yeah, yeah," Chuuya then jumped on Dazai's back. "To Narnia!!" He exclaimed.

The brunette let out a giggle, "To Narnia!" He repeated joyfully as he ran through the halls. "It's a lucky thing we have the same first period together, huh?"

"Definitely," he replied with a smile. "It's a shame we only have 3 classes together, though. Not counting lunch that is."

"Yeah- but we'll be okay. We at least have classes together and besides, we're still going to walk home together like always."

"You sure are positive today," Chuuya said in a teasing tone.

"Heyy! What do you mean 'today'? I'm always positive," Dazai huffed. "But I also just have a really good feeling about today."

"Oh yeah?"

"Yep. Something tells me I'll be running into a new opportunity."

Chuuya laughed a little, "Okay. Whatever you say, Osamu."

Dazai turned his head to look at him with a pout on his face, "One of theses days you'll learn to trust the feelings I get."

"Uh-huh, sure. Maybe in your dreams."

With Dazai still looking at Chuuya, he couldn't see the guy in front of him.

"Ah! Osamu! Eye forward!! We're gonna-"

"Huh?" By the time he looked forward, he had already run into him.

Dazai fell back, causing Chuuya to fall as well.

Chuuya put his hand on his head and continued his sentence, "Crash."

He then held out his hand, waiting for Dazai to help him up, but he was still sitting on the floor himself.

The boy Dazai bumped into looked at him and said, "Hey there. Are you okay?"

"Yeah I'm fi-," Dazai looked up and saw the boy's face.

He had beautiful blue eyes that held pure sincerity behind them and his hair had a red tinge.

"Do you need help getting up?" He asked as he held out his hand.

"I- um- nope!" Dazai popped up and stuttered over his reply, "I-i'm good. T-totally good."

"Okay, good," the boy responded with a smile. "You should be more careful and watch where you're going, though. Don't want you or someone else getting hurt."

"Yeah, y-you're totally right."

"Osamu? A little help here?" Chuuya said, still waiting for Dazai to help.

"I gotta get to class. You two take care now," the boy said as he waved and walked away.

Dazai waved back before saying, "Two? CHUUYA!" He quickly spun around and grabbed his hand, pulling him up on his feet. "Are you okay??"

"Yeah.. i'm fine..," he looked away from Dazai when he replied.

"I'm so sorry. I completely spaced out."

"I could tell." He clenched his fists as his mind raced, "W-why did he not check on me right away like he always does? Why.. is his face lighting up like that..? Does he like that guy?? Why was it so easy to forget about me?? Could.. could that have been the opportunity he said he was going to 'run' into today? Is he gonna replace me???"
