"Behind the Scenes" A Skephalo Story

Chapter Fourteen

It was the late afternoon now, and I was having fun catching up with my family members and some old friends that called to congratulate me on Skephalo. I decorated and organized some file-folders on my computer, and even had time to take a nap.

To be honest, it was really boring without Zak's chaos. We seriously had to move in together or find some solution soon, I didn't want to go a long distance. I wanted Scoopy here, with me.

Almost as if Skeppy had heard my thoughts, he called. I hurried to the phone (I gave him a unique ringtone), and answered his call.

"BAD!" He yelled excitedly through the phone, "YOU SERIOUSLY WON'T BELIEVE IT! THIS IS AMAZING!"

"Calm down!" I chuckled, "What's the rush? I'll be here forever."

"I FOUND US A REALLY NICE APARTMENT! I REALLY WANT TO MOVE IN BAD!" The phone speaker nearly shattered he was screaming so loud, and I couldn't help but yell back too.

"OMG REALLY!?"

"YEAH! PACK YOUR BAGS WE'RE MOVING IN!"

I mean sure, he hadn't asked me and sort of just "Did it." But that was his personality, and over the years I'd gotten used to his chaotic over-excitement. It was kind of adorable, and my heart swells with love for him. It's not like I had any family in Oregon, I'd just moved here for the cheap rent.

The next few weeks I was practically living in a dream. Dazed, confused, but utterly happy. Poor Lucy was caught up in all the commotion and had to stay in my bedroom most of the time while I packed, but I figured that she would settle down soon; especially once she saw Elora and Rocco.

So today was finally the day... I'd be moving in with Zak. What will happen in the future? I mean, I'd never moved in with somebody before. What if everything went wrong and we broke up? I'd have nowhere to go.

Deciding to not ponder with sad thoughts, I packed my last pair of socks into the suitcase and zipped it tight. Most of my items were already being shipped through a special delivery surface, and I just had to bring one of my clothes suitcases (In case the rest got lost in the mail I would have something) and some of Rats belongings. This was going to be amazing.
