You and the Turtles were back at the lair now, (Leo clearly upset about the failed mission), as you leaned over Donnie's shoulder to look at his many computers.
"Okay, so he just vanished?" April asked, she looked at you for reassurance and you nodded, "Yeah, there was a bright flash of blue light, and then he just... disappeared."
"Wait, wait, wait!" Donnie interrupted, you turned to him, hoping he had a solution to this, "If I run the video from my shoulder camera with an electrostatic filter..."
He was muttering now as he started tapping away furiously on the computer, "We might be able to see what happened to Shredder..."
Donnie continued typing on the computer as Leo leaned in between you and him, "Come on... show me something, buddy."
You flushed, of course he had to get closer to Donnie and you, instead of just talking from the back like a normal person.
The video came up and Donnie skipped forward to right when the Shredder disappeared. "Look! Right there!" He exclaimed as one of his giant green fingers pointed at a blue colored light in the sky, resembling a sort of funnel.
"It appears to be some sort of residue from a teleportation event..." Donnie murmured in awe, staring at the screen.
"Yeah teleportation even residue man, it's just the worst!" Mikey agreed from the background, although you could tell he had no idea what he was talking about.
You all continued to stare at the screen, watching Donnie as he looked over the photo. "Does that kinda technology even exist?" Raph asked.
"Baxter Stockman has been working on this kind of tech for years!" Donnie answered, not even bothering to turn to face Raph,
You and April looked at each other, and she seemed to read your mind, "All of that stuff that we pulled off of Baxters iPad, it was full of information about Shredder and the Foot Clan."
"It was like a virtual playbook, everything and anything about them was there." You added in.
April nodded and turned to face Donnie, "Baxter HAS to have a backup. And I bet it's on the mainframe of TCRI. Donnie, we need something, what do you got?"
Leo had been staring at you and April, knowing where this conversation was going. Donnie knew too, he nodded his head violently and turned back to his desk, scrambling around for something, "I know exactly what you need!" He grabbed a little hard drive and handed it to April, "Totally plug-and-play!"
April grinned and grabbed the hard drive, shoving it in her jacket, "Perfect. Me and Y/N will go check it out."
You smiled, starting to walk away with April, "Don't miss us too much!" You made eye contact with Leo and he immediately stood up, quickly walking over to you and April, his brothers following, "We'll go with! Operate and support."
You and April nodded, but as you looked at your watch you realized that they actually couldn't come, you let out a groan, "Guys...."
"Sun's coming up... You guys can't go outside, you'll be seen." Your sister finished for you, she had turned around to face the guys and was standing there quite awkwardly.
The turtles groaned and Leo simply nodded, although you could tell he was secretly just as upset.
April turned to walk away, with you turning to follow, but a gentle voice made you turn around instantly. "Stay safe. Don't let your sister get hurt..." Leo gently commanded as you made eye contact.
"Don't worry about me, Big Blue." You grinned, turning and running after your sister.
"Okay... so TCRI..." You muttered, pulling up the GPHS coordinates on your phone, "Alright, so we need to take this route."
