Reunited

" I was beginning to think you all wouldn't show". I said smiling . I looked down at Luke as I hugged him, he looked up at me as I ruffled my hands through his brown locs

" your still so little Lucerys". I said  I looked over at jace who came in for his embrace  holding the hand of his youngest brother joeffrey , Jace had actually grown into his appearance and was beginning to look quite handsome

" jace your so handsome now ,though you haven't quite measured up" . I said I still stood taller then both the Valaryon boys.

" is it true , your marrying Aemond ". Lucerys asked I nodded my head in response

" is that what you want".Rhaenyra asked I looked over at her.

" I don't want to marry wether it be Aemond or anyone else but he's as best a suitor I could hope to find " . I answered

" I haven't wed the boys , Jace is my heir , what better a suitor then a future king". Rhaenyra told I looked over at Jace who looked at the ground sheepishly

" my father he — "

" I am the princess and the kings heir if I extend this offer to you , you need only accept, " she told

" can I think it over". I asked

" take all the time you need". Rhaenyra's told  , I  made my way over to Daemon who was leaning against the nose of Caraxes. Caraxes was my favorite of all the dragons as a little girl I enjoyed the whistling sounds the blood worm made it sounded to me like a singing of sorts .

" would you like a ride ". Daemon asked

" I would but you've only just arrived". I said

" then one is promised to you with the sun rise ". He said I shook my head and continued petting Caraxes.

We made our way into the Dining hall , where food could be seen as we arrived , the Queen mother, the hand prince ,Aegon ,  prince Aemond and princess Haelena could be seen seated . I rarely ever saw Healena about . She did strike me as a bit strange but I found her personality to be quite humorous.

I took a seat next to Jace and In doing so earned a glance from the queen mother and Aemond . There was an available seat next to him , probably left for my taking .

"  glad to see you've returned princess", the queen mother said

" glad to see you as well my queen". Rhaenyra answered

Those two had not been the same in years , I still remember the day that the queen attempted to attack Rhaenyra the night of Laena's funeral over the loss of Aemond 's eye . I remember counseling Lucerys he was inconsolable. He blamed himself for the wound his mother had endured during the altercation and wouldn't stop crying I still remember the blood curdling scream he let out as Alicent lunged for Rhaenyra with the blade she had drawn from the kings side . I sang him to sleep that whole week . Rhaenyra never told me what happened, between the two of them, I figured it was odd when her sworn sword Sir Criston moved to service the Queen. I never asked her what had occurred, though I doubt she would've told me.

"  are you okay?" Jace asked breaking me from thought

" I'm fine". I said smiling , as I began digging in to my meal .

" I always know when somethings bothering you Saelena ". He whispered, Jace always did have that ability even when we were kids and he'd keep peeling away at me till I told him , so he could make it better , I remained silent unsure of what to say .
