The second weekend of November , it was a Sunday evening; I was laying in bed with the worst pain I had ever felt at that point in my life. Could it be I was in labor ?
I called my fiancé at work, and he rushed home quickly to speed me to the hospital. I was triaged through labor and delivery. I remember being anxious, was this when I was going to have my baby ?
After a short wait, and many tests ran (we were able to see our little boy on the ultrasound, and he even was sucking his thumb!) ; I was told that I was in early labor, but not dilating quick enough for them to consider it full labor.
My heart was racing, my contractions were insanely painful, I still to this day believe they should have induced me that night.
But with a reluctant manner, I went home after I was discharged, and spent the rest of the night rolling back-and-forth in bed, trying to soothe the pain.
