"I don't want to get married!" Chuuya grumbled at his parents who were massaging his temples. The moment Chuuya came back home, he went straight to his parents and demanded an answer from them for selling him. He had to wait till the next day to get both parents to sit them down and get his answers. It wasn't a good talk between son and parents.
➰Flashback➰
"Believe us, Chuuya. We don't want to do it. Just that...just that the money, it's real money! Don't you understand?" The mother, 30 was quite young for her age. Chuuya clicked his tongue in irritation as he rolled his eyes in disgust. "I don't understand? Why don't you understand, you're not the one getting married to a random person you don't know!" Chuuya's mother didn't want to argue anymore. She glanced at her husband beside her and gesture for him to say something . Her husband, 32, noticed that and spoke up, "Chuuya, it's a win win situation. We will get rich by getting nothing less than $2000 and I heard the man you are getting married to is quite rich as well. You will get a happier life there! All of us will be happy. You can still visit us and your friends as well. So our decision is final! Go get some sleep. Tommorow is the big day!"
As both of his parents walked off with a skip in their step, they were still exclaiming that they would be rich. Chuuya's was heartbroken. He never felt this dissapointed in his life before.
Present★
As Chuuya sat still on the wooden chair, his mother humming her favourite tune and combed Chuuya's hair rather hastily. That woman was on cloud nine. Who wouldn't anyway? You were going to be rich in jusy a few hours. Just because of your own son's beauty. "They'll be here in half an hour, father says. Aren't you excited to start a family?" his mother eagerly said, still imagining the green stack of money going to be given to her. Her mind drifted to the new rose lipstick from the opposite shop as she rushed out of the room while shouting a 'quick!' to Chuuya who was still reluctant to stand up. He was still not willing to give his life to a man who he hasn't even met. He was beyond angry. As he willed himself to walk to the church, he saw the person he was going to marry. With silver hair and a tint of dark blue at his left side of his hair, his eyes matching his hair colour of silver-grey. Holding a bouquet of white flowers, his eyes glanced around the church as if searching for his mate. When his eyes finally settled on Chuuya, he was like a happy dog finding his master and waved gently at him. Sure he was gentle and looked kind but Chuuya was still not sure. What if he was acting. What if he gets abused? Chuuya was overwhelmed as his father took him by the arm and brought him through the doors. Cold sweat trickling down his already pale face. His father gave him a serious face which Chuuya understood and straightened his posture. Another male as tall as his father came into sight. Shaking hands with his father, Chuuya was alone with the silver-haired boy now.
"I'm Daisuke, Nakahara Chuuya right?" The silver-haired boy did not waste a second to introduce himself. Chuuya nodded, anxious. "I hope we will have a good beginning together." Daisuke continued with a big beam. Chuuya hesitated as he nod once again. "Quiet one, are you?" Daisuke chuckled before putting a hand on Chuuya's shoulder. Chuuya was thinking of brushing his hand off but he was relief when he saw Yuan, Shirace and the others coming towards him and some distracting Daisuke. They succeeded as Daisuke started talking with Yuan. "Thanks. I was going to die from anxiety." Chuuya smiled slightly despite his fear. Shirace just patted Chuuya on the back. "Don't worry. Tell us if he does anything and we will make sure he won't see the sun!" They all laughed and Yuan came back afterwards. "He's a total flirter." Yuan rolled her eyes in anger and hugged Chuuya. Soon, the awful wedding music started echoing in the church. Chuuya groaned as he bid his friends goodbye. As Daisuke looked at Chuuya confidently, the priest started his lines, his head burying into the bible he was holding. Chuuya gulped as he hesitantly steeped up onto the stage. Daisuke held Chuuya's hand in his as Chuuya tried pulling away. "Daisuke Yuu, do you agree to take Nakahara Chuuya be your partner for life and beyond?" Daisuke answered quickly without hesitation, "I do 0He winked at Chuuya as the priest continued. Chuuya was beyond desperate to escape this torture. His mother clutching her hands while giving a death stare at Chuuya as the deafening silence echoed in the church. Chuuya should be saying 'I do.' but he just couldn't. The words never escaped Chuuya' mouth as Daisuke gave Chuuya a confused look. He mouthed a 'sorry' to Daisuke as he turned his head to Yuan who cracked her knuckles and before anyone knew it, the lights turned off. After 5 seconds, the lights came back on. Chuuya's mother was stunned as she didn't see Chuuya on the stage but instead he was no where to be seen. The creaking of the door was heard as they saw a ginger escape through the door. The father, who was desperate for the money, chased right after but before he could climb down the chairs, he saw Chuuya slide down the stair pole. "Where did that brat learn that trick?" His father panted. Daisuke and his family came right after. "Father, he runs really fast, we won't be able to catch up..."Daisuke announced and everyone in the church gasped in shock. Yuan smirked when she saw Shirace jump down from the maintenance stairs. They all rushed out. "Go Chuuya! We'll handle things here!" Everyone's eyes turned to the group of kids who disrupted the whole wedding. All dispersed as Yuan and Shirace gave each other a high five and ran away. "Come back here! Don't just stand there! Catch those kids!" Chuuya's father together with Daisuke's exclaimed in unison. The church was full of screaming and thumping of footsteps. Chuuya who could still hear the ruckus in the church, smirked confidently and didn't look back. He just kept running...
