Heading East was a bad idea for the townspeople. Dazai should have known that they were more rampaged boars at where he wanted to lure them to. That part of the forest had the most number of rampaged animals and Dazai obviously knew that. The townspeople were getting killed or severely injured one by one. Screaming and yelling were heard as Daisuke and his father continued shooting. They were now shooting aimlessly, there were too many rampaged animals that even if they randomly shoot, it will hit at least something. Chuuya's parents were going hysterical as they cursed aloud. Chuuya's mother shooting accurately and killing at least one animal every time. Chuuya's father using his dagger and going for the head which he surprisingly good at. Both, back to back, turning around slightly as the animals stopped but a slowly started circling them. "Honey, I think we shouldn't have thought of selling Chuuya! Not only because of what we are in now but I think we made him so desperate that he even decided to jump of a cliff. We need to change this somehow!" Chuuya's mother shot another bullet, hitting the boar's head. The father who nodded as he heard the gun shot. "I think so too. We are such stupid parents. No worries, dear, I will think of something. I don't believe that out precious Chuuya is dead!" With that, he rushed forward and slashed at another's boar's neck, instantly killing it. "My husband was always good with knives..." Chuuya's mother muttered as she too once again, join in the fight and shot three more animals. "Don't worry Chuuya, we'll save you...don't die on us..."
Boom! A bullet shot as Dazai reloaded his gun. "Why is there so many stupid animals?" Chuuya exclaiming, irritated behind him. For the week Chuuya has been with Dazai, he learnt how to fight even better. He knew martial arts already but he learned how to use a dagger the right way from Dazai who patiently taught him. "I think you're born to use the dagger, Chuuya." was what Dazai said when Chuuya killed one rampaged animal by himself on the 3rd day. Dagger in hand, Chuuya swiftly did a flip to avoid the running dear and in the same time, slashed the dear's neck as blood splattered everywhere as Chuuya aimed for a blood vessel. Chuuya gave Dazai a confident glance as Dazai smiled back and lifted his hand to shoot another boar coming at him from the right. It was like the brunette had super senses, he knew the boar was there without even looking. Placing his gun back into his hoodie, he gestured for Chuuya to continue walking. They had to reach the town in another 2 weeks or so if they didn't want to starve to death. Chuuya used a already dirty cloth to clean his bloody dagger and trailed behind Dazai. It was funny how Chuuya felt more safe with Dazai than he was alone. He knew the brunette always had his back and won't hesitate to protect him with his life. For the both of them, they trusted the other to save each other when in need. That was an unexplained theory that both developed only after in a week. They had learned lots about each other as well as they had nothing to do but talk and walk. Chuuya hoped that they would reach the next town safely. He was deeply mistakened...

As Chuuya's and Daisuke's parents panted as both sat on the ground, dropping their weapons. "Finally over!" Daisuke exclaimed as he as well collapsed to the ground. They have been fighting off rampaged beasts for nearly 15 minutes or so. More than half of the townspeople were dead already, including one doctor and nurse. They only had 3 doctors. One dead, one had a deep cut on his forearm. It was only a few more days before he dies from infection. Only one doctor was not scraped at all as he was hiding from the animal's view and trying her best to heal the injured. A lot of supplies were gone and wasted on people who already died even after being treated. There was only enough medical supplies for 17 people or so. Not including if an individual was serverly hurt. Now, there was only Chuuya's parents, Daisuke, his father, the doctor and 6 townspeople who were still able to walk with steady feet, which isn't a good number. "Yasano-san! Come check my son's wound." Daisuke's father called out to the purple-haired doctor who immediately made her way over. After checking it, she assured that the cut was only a shallow one and bandaged it. Luckily, it didn't hit any vessels at the neck. "We might have to leave the injured townspeople...we have to go on. Pack your medical supplies, let's go everyone!" Daisuke's father announced as the injured groaned in agony and started pleading to not leave them upon hearing that. Yasano wanted to say something but was stopped by a hand intertwining with her's. "Let's go Yasano-san. I know it's wrong but I think you can handle it, you're a doctor after all." The voice of that male was full of encouragement. Yasano sighed as she replied while packing her medical supplies, "I know Rampo-san. Let's go..." As Rampo gave her a reassuring smile, Yasano grinned back slightly as they trailed behind the rest.

Heavy rain drops started pelting down to the forest floor and thunder rumbled in a distance. Pulling up their hood up, Dazai and Chuuya started running. They had to find shelter. "Should we go under a tree for shelter?" Dazai joked and chuckled. "Chuuya rolled his eyes, "If you want to get electrocuted, be my guest!" Both chuckled again and started running faster. Fortunately for them, they found a tree trunk that must have fallen down on the ground and there was small hole underneath it. Both slides into it and took off their hoods. "Gosh! This is way to small!" Chuuya complained as he shifted in his seat to give the already thin Dazai some space to seat as well. "I don't think it's that bad! At least we have shelter." Dazai said optimistically which Chuuya replied with a sigh. Dazai mentally snickered as he imagined the townspeople getting trampled over by just following footsteps he made to lure them away. What foolish bastards. They won't get their hands on Chuuya or him...Dazai was certain that he would be killed if caught and that Chuuya would be forced to be married to Daisuke. Chuuya did some explaining to Dazai on the way. The brunette, along with his prodigy brain was playing his game properly, making an absolute plan to escape with the ginger. If he places his piece at the wrong place, something bad may happen.

The townspeople weren't as lucky as they just had to stand in the rain with raincoats and trying to warm up by huddle together. Chuuya's parents were once softly whispering and discussing what they were talking about earlier at the fight. ThanKfully, only both could hear each other because of the heavy rain. "We need to get away from this brainless townspeople and the nasty rich bastard. I think we should have gone the opposite way. I saw that the soil was messed with. Someone must have tried to hide the footprints and lure us somewhere.."
"Else. Which explains the sudden numbers of rampaged animals. Whoever took our son went the opposite way. Thankfully, I marked a tree nearby which will lead us the right way." Chuuya's father continued his wife's words. His wife continued, "I eavesdropped and I heard someone else may be with Chuuya. I think he's that guy." The father's eyes widened, "You mean...." Upon seeing her nod, Chuuya's father worriedly asked, "What if he kills our son? Isamu...what should we do?" Chuuya's mother, now we know as Isamu replied with a determined look. "You'll never now the future. I think Chuuya took my genes too! He'll be just fine."
Isamu means brave in Japanese. Isamu is sure that Chuuya took her 'brave' genes. Praying hard, he started whispering to her husband what the plan was. They were determined to help their son. It was stupid of them to try to sell their son to someone who he doesn't even know. It was actually just a spur of a moment kind of thing when they heard the money. They needed desperately for the money. Now they are snapped to reality and decided to change. Now, the game finally begins..
