After that whole 'fight', it was just the brunette and the ginger again. The next town was close as both were eager to start their lives anew once more. To have a new beginning and forget about their past, their sins. Dazai was more than happy to explain to the ginger after choosing him over his parents but went with the flow when Chuuya didn't ask anything about the 'murderer' part. Chuuya probably knew that it was a sensitive topic and didn't want to pester Dazai about it and break the mood. However, Dazai was uncomfortable with Chuuya not asking any questions like his normal self and asked anyway. "Chibi...are you not curious about what your mother said to you?"

Chuuya was used to Dazai calling him 'Chibi' already. He didn't mind honestly.  "You mean about the murderer part? No, you probably have a reason. I don't want to know anyway." Dazai stared at Chuuya before humming in response. That wasn't the answer he was thinking off.

The town in sight, the duo did not waste a second. It was not a short or long journey. Many things happened. Rampaged animals weren't the only dangerous things to be aware of. Now out of the forest, the town was a welcome sight. With colourful balloons and banners on food stores. This town really was interested in arts. There was at least some sort of painting on every building. The townspeople seemed nice as well. The duo learned from a jolly old man that it was their town tradition to welcome any new comers to the town with food and their arts. Better still, no one knew anything  about the brunette and ginger's past. It really was a new beginning for the both of them. With the limited amount of money, both rented a small abandoned hut near the woods but the town just a bridge away. Resting was one thing but nobody knew that their happiness was short lived...They were finally out of the forest but not out of the woods.

It was just the third day that the duo started living in that small but cosy hut. That's when disaster struck. Both were still lazing around in bed, after their previous long journey, they were relishing their well deserved rest. That was when a gun shot was heard. Not only once but multiple times. Chuuya reluctantly got off his bed before looking out of the window which he could see the bridge connecting where the hut was and the town. That was when fire caught his eyes. There was fire! Rushing to Dazai's room, Chuuya did not have time to care about Dazai's privacy and barged into his room. Only to see that Dazai was already ready, about to climb out of his window before Chuuya stopped him. Dazai glanced back to see the familiar ginger and wanted to say 'stay here' but looking at the Chuuya's determined eyes, he sighed and waved his hand as a gesture to get out of the hut. With that, Dazai jumped out of the window and took his own sweet time to saunter to the front door, expecting a ginger to open the door and meet him but was surprised to see Chuuya giving him a confident side glance at the bridge already. "When did he.."Dazai mumbled to himself as he rushed to follow the ginger who was already crossing the bridge.

Shouting echoed the whole town. Children were crying and more gun shots were heard. The food carts were toppled over. Balloons were no longer inflated. The banner to stalls were on fire. Injured people littered the streets. What happened in the once calm town? Chuuya and Dazai got their answer as they saw a figure running towards them. "A rampaged boar? Why here?" Chuuya cursed out loud as Dazai shot the boar down. Rushing to get shelter from the fire and rampaged animals, the duo rushed to a nearby bakery which was somehow magically still not demolished by now. The townspeople were no where to be seen, except for the injured ones. Chuuya sweared that he even saw a young boy with no li,bs. The boars seemed more violent then the ones in the forest. They would not stop until you kill them. Was it a different chip used? A million thoughts rushed through Chuuya's mind as he tried to find a reason as to why there were suddenly so many rampaged animals. They didn't meet any after knowing that they were being followed. Why now? Why do they appear now? His trail of thoughts snapped when he felt Dazai dragging him under the counter and putting his finger on his lips as a signal to keep quite. Chuuya nodded as he heard the glass crack and thumping was heard on the floor. A boar? They heard the footsteps echoing through the bakery and predicted that whatever was there was walking around in an attempt to find the townspeople. The boar was just a few centimetres from the counter as both prayed hard that the boar wasn't smart enough to check behind and below it. A Chuuya gripped the dagger in his hand tighter, he was ready to strike whenever needed.

"That's where you are! Come along..." a male voice was heard and it seemed that the boar followed the male out of the bakery and silence once occupied the room. The duo crawled out to see that the whole bakery was empty. That was when they heard the thumping of boots on the concrete floor outside as they once hid underneath the counter. They heard a muffled voice. It was the same as before. "No one saw them huh...I know their somewhere near. Find them. Don't stop until you find the brunette and ginger!" Both Dazai and Chuuya glanced at each other when they heard that. They were being hunted? 'You got to be kidding me.' Was what both of them were thinking at that moment.

The trouble never stops until their caught.
