The muffled yelling of Daisuke caused Chuuya's eyes to snap open. As some rubbles fell from from above made Chuuya regret looking down. He only can see blurry green from at where he was. Looking at the height, Chuuya's head started fogging up and he turned dizzy. He gripped tighter on the person's arm who pushed him off the cliff in the first place. The person wore a black hoodie and black pants. The hooded person upon noticing Chuuya's fear of height, his hand gripped firmly at the edge of the cliff, he used one leg to push himself off and swiftly pushed himself onto a cave. Well, preferably a hole that is not visible if you look down from the top of the cliff as it was at the side of the cliff. As Daisuke looked down, he exclaimed, "Holy Shi-, Chuuya!" He took to his feet and ran to his father to report. There was no way anyone could survive from a fall like that. Both Chuuya and the person who pushed Chuuya off the cliff would be dead.

When Chuuya heard Daisuke shout and his footsteps which was getting more inaudible, he slid down the wall of the cave and sighed in relief. He turned his head to see the black hooded figure. His back facing Chuuya. Chuuya assumed that he was a male. Upon noticing Chuuya's staring, the hooded male turned around and pulled his hood down. Brunette eyes and hair were presented as Chuuya saw bandages crawl up the male's neck and arms. Opening his mouth to speak, no words came out of his mouth. The brunette chuckled and sat beside the ginger, "So, want to tell me why you were running?" Chuuya gulped down and glanced away. What if this man was one of the townspeople? That would be bad, he could be a spy for all Chuuya knows. The Ginger's fear didn't go unnoticed by the brunette as he continued, "I'm Dazai Osamu. You should be Chuuya right? Heard the silver hair brat say. I'm on the run, same as you, I suppose?" Upon hearing that, Chuuya glanced back at the smiling brunette. Somehow, Chuuya thought that the smile on the brunette's face was fake, it his some sort of secret, a fear? Chuuya shifted in his seat as he nodded in agreement to everything. The brunette, now known as Dazai smile became even bigger as he exclaimed, thrilled, "Finally a partner to run away with!" Chuuya titled his head in confusion. Dazai chuckled once more before suggesting, "I predicted that you were headed for the town near here, I'm thinking of going there too! We can go together. I have my own supplies, so don't worry." Chuuya understood and once again nodded. Dazai crossed his legs and commented, "You are a quiet one are you?" Hearing that sentence leave the brunette's lips made Chuuya remember of Daisuke as he stood up abruptly and headed to the exit of the cave. The brunette was clearly stunned by the Ginger's sudden action and gripped Chuuya's hand and apologising. Chuuya calmed himself down and sat back down. He opened his mouth and this time, words came out. "Sorry. You just remind me of a certain person when you said that." The brunette nodded in an understanding and welcoming way. Chuuya smiled back and asked as curiosity got the better of him. "Why are you running away? I'm doing so because I'm getting hunted by my townspeople because I have to marry some rich brat." Chuuya rolled his eyes in irritation. Dazai kept silent before replying, "I'm being hunted by some people...because I stole their horse to run away." Chuuya stifled a laugh. "Wow! You're bold!" Dazai smirked as he nodded in agreement. "Well, we should get going, the sun is going down. Let's head to another part of the forest before resting." Chuuya sighed as he looked at the setting sun. The azure blue sky turning into a shade of yellow and orange. Standing up while dusting the dirt of his pants, he gestured for Dazai to follow. Dazai smiled slightly as he stood up but was abruptly stopped by Chuuya. "How are we suppose to get down?" He looked down and stepped a few steps back while shuddering. Dazai smirked, "You mean, how you get back up." Dazai placed his hands together and stared into Chuuya's ocean blue eyes. Instantly, Chuuya got it and shook his head. Dazai just stood there, still in the same position. "Fine! I'll do it!" Chuuya growled as he step a few more steps back and ran. With one foot, he pushed himself off with the support of Dazai's hands. He barely reached the edge of the cliff as he grunted as his foot slipped of the rock his foot was on initially. Pulling himself up, Chuuya lay on the ground and looked down to see Dazai cracking his knuckles and he too, without warning, jumped. Chuuya caught his hand and pulled him up. Chuuya panted from the scary trick he did and complained, "You're lucky because you're tall!"

"You're just short, Chibi~" Dazai replied with a smirk.
