***third person Pov***

Sora struggled keeping her eyes open now that she no longer felt like she was in danger, well not more danger than she normally was in. Aizawa had asked her a question, but she wasn't sure what he had said anymore, her brain felt fuzzy, and her body numb. When she didn't answer Aizawa moved a little to make sure she was still awake, and finding that her eyes had closed. Panic suddenly washed over him, as falling asleep while hyperthermic could literally kill someone. "Sora, Sora, Kid your gotta stay awake. Come on kid open your eyes for me. Have your ever heard about mates? I could tell you about mine, or could call him, and have him talk to you. Just please, open your eyes." Aizawa cried out in a panicked tone breaking through the ice in Sora's brain. She slowly opened her eyes, looking up at him, he looked afraid to her.
"Wake" Sora struggled to sign. Making the man calm down only a fraction.
"Would you like me to tell you about my mate?" He asked her gentaly. Sora nodded her head. She had always loved stories about soul mates. "Okay, where do I start, well I guess I should start with I had two mates, but one, one died, and I really don't like talking about him, it's painful." He said eyes looking off.
"T-they turned D-daddy in-to a m-monster, h-he went b-bye like wh-when you die." Sora stuttered out lowly, feeling sad for the man. "I s-sad to." Aizawa looked at her stunned, but nodded. He didn't know how to feel about what she said, but she was speaking again, which he worried she would only do if she was completely terrified for her, or his life.
"Okay, the mate that I still have is named Yamada Hizashi, he is a prohero as well, and in my opinion one of the best ones, though I won't tell him that, because he will get a giant head. I met him back in my days at the hero school U.A. high school. He was loud, and obnoxious. I tried to get away from him, but there was something about him I just couldn't leave him be. I don't know why he even stuck with me, I was just a quiet loner, but he stood by my side. In our second year our mate died, and I quite talking. I was really sad for a really long time, but even in his own sadness he stuck by my side, and refused to let me go. I think I might have died of it weren't for him being there beside me." He said not really knowing what to tell the girls so he was rambling. Suddenly his phone went off in his jacket pocket. He swore Zashi had to have a tracker on it so that whenever he spoke about him kindly his phone would ring. The girls startled at the sudden noise shaking badly again. "Hey it's okay it's just my phone," he paused pulling it out of the pocket careful to not uncover her at all knowing she needed all the warmth possible and his jacket was givving her some of that warmth. "See." He held the smart device towards her Yamada's face flashing on the screen. Sora flinched back not knowing what the device was, and slightly frightened by it. "It's okay with this it let's you talk to people who aren't in the same place as you, if they have one to. Would you like to see? Hizashi is video calling me so you could see him." Aizawa said quietly. Sora looked at the device with what now seemed to be curiosity, and nodded her head.

**Aizawa's pov**

Not knowing if Yamada was dressed or not I first turned the phone where only I could see it, answering it, and sighing in relief when I saw that Zashi was infact dressed. "SHOTA! NEM TOLD ME YOU WERE THE ONLY ONE ALBE TO GET A PUP OUT!!" My overly loud husband yelled excitedly. Sora flinched in my arms before curiously peeking up at the phone. I held it down to where she could see it.
"Yeah, this is Sora." I said calmly alowing the camera to catch her small face which was mostly hidden behind the emergancy blankets. Zashie's eyes grew wide at the small girl his voice taking on a soft tone as he awed at her. She stared back more aware now than monments prior. Sora reached a shaky hand out of the blanket touching my phone.
"Hello Sora, my name is Hizashi Yamada." Zashi said in an almost whisper, knowing the type of mission I was on, and obviously deducted what Sora had gone through. She softly touched his face in my phone before looking back up at me.
"Is he trapped?" Sora signed a look of worry crossing over her small face. I chuckeled as she was aborable. I might be becoming attached to her as well already.
"No, he is just at our home. This phone gives us the ability to see each other from other places." I said again. Making Zashi laugh in the phone.
"Don't worry, little listener I am perfectly fine." Zashie chuckled throwing up a piece sign. The girl let a small simle out softly touching the phone again. She seemed to be enthrolled by it, and my mate as well.
"I was just telling Sora here about us." I said making Zashi smile. "I got to the part of where we met and how you saved me."
"I can continue, if you would like." He said softly.  I smiled at him nodding as Sora just watched. "Sho was born to be a hero, but he couldn't even care for himself, I swear he tried to off himself at every chance." He sighed the Sora tilted her head to the side. "So I started worrying about his well being for him. I had to make sure he ate, and I still have to fight him on his sleeping schedule, seeing that he works the night shift as an underground hero, and teaches during the day, but I would so anything for him, ya know?" He said a soft smile gracing his handsome face. "So you know how mates became to be?" He asked Sora. She shook her head no rocking in my chest. Zashi had always had an easier time carrying conversation than I did, and children, while usually afraid of me, loved him. We have been looking to adopt a child for over a year, since our other mate died we weren't able to concive naturaly, which had been hard on me. We have gone to mutiple orphanages trying to find a pup that we could love as our own, but no child would get near me. I just watched as the two interacted through the phone Sora slowly opening up and responding to him in sign laungage as he kept her distracted. I swear he knew when I needed his help.
A few minutes into their conversation Chiyo came back into the ambulance smiling at both of us. "Everything is taken care of, and I'm riding back with you to, tell Yamada that I said hello, would you?" She said sitting on one of the seat to the side after shutting the door. Sora flinched and hid under the covers more only letting enough of her out so that she could see Hizashi on the phone. A yawn graced her face gentaly as she continued to listen to him nodding.
"And than Shota feel face first, it was one of the most hilarious things I've every seen!" Zashi said laughing so hard that he gripped his side and causing a small laugh to fall from Sara's lips. I couldn't help, but smile at her my heart squeezing happily. The ambulance began to move, but Sora didn't pay it any mind as Zashi continued to keep her attention. About thirtey minutes into the ride Sora started to shake terribly, breaths coming out a little harder causing Zashi to pause in whatever he was talking about. I looked over at Chiyo in worry. What was wrong with my pup.
Chiyo quickly got up looking her over and grabbing the thermometer. "I need to check your temperature again." Chiyo said holding out the thermometer towards Sora she opened her mouth with a frown. Chiyo paitently waited before the thermometer beeped again. She smiled at the girl. "This is a normal reaction her body has warmed up considerably, and she is just now feeling the cold." Chiyo said softly. Grabbing another blanket to wrap her in. Sora smiled gentaly warming up to Chiyo as well. By the time we were nearly to the hospital her shaking had almost stopped and she was falling asleep against me which Chiyo said was fine, even giving her a small sedative to help her out, while Zashie had her distracted. She had she closed her eyes light breaths coming from her when we came to a stop.
Recovery girl opened the door takind my IV out now that Sora was asleep, but having me stay on the strecher with her to make sure she didn't wake up, and that the medication had taken affect. We didn't speak except when I told Zashi I'd call him back in a little bit. We were unloaded out and taken into the Er bay, but Chiyo told them to go on and take us to one of her private rooms. Chiyo explained the test she needed to run on the girl to me, before allowing me to get up. She said that she would return with her in a bit. Everything once ariving at the hospital was like a whirl wind leaving my head spinning like crazy. I sat down on the single chair in the now empty room calling Zashi knowing that he was sitting on the edge to hear from me.

My thoughts spun everywhere as the phone rang. Sora had already attached herself to me, which was obvious to me, but the thing that was bothering me was the way I yearned to protect the small girl from everything and everyone. I had only known her for a little over an hour and here I was wanting to, to be there for her.
"Shota, hello?" Zashi's voice reached me.
"Yeah, sorry I didn't realize that you had answered." I said sighing and putting my head into my hand the phone held to my ear in the other one.
"Are you okay?" He asked softly.
"Yeah, I just, I don't," I sighed not knowing what to say or how I felt. "Chiyo asked me to stay, they are running a few tests on her. Zashi, she was afraid of everyone, hell she bit Nem, but somehow she trusted me. You should have seen her. She was in a fucking dog crate curled in the back shaking, and hissing. Somehow she trusted me, but I guess that would be due to your influence as well. She acted like she didn't understand me and then when I spoke English she got a look in her eyes it was almost like hope, she asked for my IDs and checked them the way Orobo used to, just like him." I rambled my voice lowering at the end.
"Hey, hey it's okay. It's okay Sho." Zashi said calmly and it was only then that I realized that I had begun to cry myself. "I'm going to come up there to sit with you, and I'll be there for Sora to, I'm sure she is going to need people did you get any information out of her other than her name?" Hizashi asked probably hopping to distract me.
"No," I sighed, "not really only," I froze thinking about the way the girl had screamed about not wanting to be experimented on. I took a shaky breath. "Only that she didn't want to be experimented on again." Hizashi gasped at the answer.
