Sorry, this chapter is short. I wanted it to be longer so I can focus on the other story but I got sick and couldn't write more.

This chapter can actually explain a bit about Y/N's parents and their origins.

Y/N was flying across the calm and blue skies with Wan Shi Tong flying behind him as they flew through the sky in awkward silence.

Fornax: Where are you going? I thought you wanted to find the temple.

Y/N: I'm heading back to my old village, the temple can wait. But my parents can't.

Fornax: Aren't you supposed to be thinking of a good idea instead of heading to a village that was conquered by the fire nation?

Y/N: The plan is simple. Head to the village, crush every soldier and find information about my parent's whereabouts. They better be alive.

Fornax: Fair enough. Though I have to ask, what are you going to do when they outnumber you? You know.. a whole village against one doesn't sit well with me.

Y/N: If it comes to that height then we'll have to use the purple glowing thing as a last resort.

Fornax: Yeeeeeah and risk yourself getting completely vulnerable. No thanks.

Wan Shi Tong: What are you two bickering about?

Y/N: Trying to come up with a plan on how to get my village back.

Wan Shi Tong: If this plan contains a lot of killing then count me out.

Y/N: I understand that you don't want your knowledge to be used for bad purposes so I don't mind you refusing. But I have to do this.

Wan Shi Tong: Well then, I guess it's goodbye for now.

Y/N: Yeah. It appears so.

Wan Shi Tong changed his flight direction and went in the direction of his old library in the middle of the Si Wong desert, leaving Y/N with himself.

Fornax: That was quick.

Y/N: At Least he won't fight me when he suddenly figures out that I want to take out the entire nation.

Fornax: Trust me, he will know sooner than that.

Y/N: Do you have anything better to say than expressing your opinion? Cause I'm all ears.

Fornax: Hmm. Nope, all out of motivational speeches. (Though, I don't remember giving one.)

Y/N: Well, it's better that you stay quiet then.

Fornax's thoughts: Jeez, Y/N. You changed.

Y/N continued his flight in silence without talking with Fornax, the only thing he had on his mind was his parents' safety. Indeed, he didn't try to look for them in the beginning due to how weak and inexperienced he was with bending.

But now he knows the basics and some advanced moves he can have a chance at finding his parents and maybe even avenging his friend. They were flying for a while with Fornax being silent which made Y/N think more clearly without interruption. They eventually made it to the village with Y/N landing on the roof of one of the houses.

He noticed that more fire nation soldiers were walking around the village, Y/N noticed how people were hiding in their homes from the ruthless fire nation soldiers hoping that they wouldn't burn down their houses.

Y/N: Looks like they doubled the number of guards here.

Fornax: Yeah, they're now even more pain in the…
