Jungkooks pov
I laugh a little watching jimin running around with chin-mae in the garden.
Bo-a sits next to me and sighs "eomma? What's this mean?" she points to a word. I smile "that's the name of the bone in your hand" she nods and then hums a little and gasps "I did it eomma!!"
She hands me a piece of paper and I then look over it "so you believe Mrs chase killed her own son because he got a woman pregnant.. Hmmm that's good evidence honey, you're gonna be a fantastic detective" she smiles "I'm gonna make you proud eomma"
I ruffle her hair "you want to be a detective. I hope this is really really what you want baby girl" she nods "I do eomma! I do!" I nod "okay baby, just know, I'll be proud of everything you'll do in your life, you're gonna be so successful" she smiles and cuddles up to me
I look up when namjoon rushes into the garden "kook-" he hands me some paper and I nod "yeah yeah yeah ill give it to jimin. Just.. Let him play for a bit" namjoon shakes his head "I was actually... Wondering if you could check it?" I nod "I guess but I'm not a detective anymore"
Bo-a giggles "you've always been a detective eomma! You fix all appas mistakes in his work and help him work it out!" I blush a little "don't tell your appa that, he'll get grumpy again" she giggles. I then nod and look at namjoon "I'll take a look" he nods "thank you kook"
He then starts to walk away. I then stop him "hyung?" he looks at me and I smile "take some time with Jin" he nods "I will, thanks kook" I nod and he walks out. I then sit down with Bo-a again and we both take a look at the paperwork while chin-mae and jimin roll round on the floor together.
Bo-a hums "wouldn't it be the sister? With... A hammer??" i shake my head "not quite, I don't think it was the sister, she has allabies, however, the boyfriend story doesn't add up fully" she nods "eomma..are you thinking what I'm thinking"
I smile "shall we go and investigate?" she squeals "YES!!!" I laugh and stand up and she jumps up. I walk over to jimin and chin-mae "boys, I have a surprise" they both jump up and jimin kisses my head "what's up"
I hold up the paperwork and he gasps "wait-" I giggle and nod "let's go on a bit of a family adventure" he chuckles "family detective time?" i nod and we both laugh when chin-mae and Bo-a rush out to the car.
Jimin grabs my hand "let's go cheif detective"
I laugh "let's go"
I couldn't ask for a better family..
Or a better life.
I love how it is now and I don't want anything to change
