The next morning
Jungkooks pov

I cross my arms watching park flirting with a criminal. I walk to him "you do know she murdered her last husband?" His eyes widen "of course I knew that!"

I huff and then we walk to my office. His eyes widen "how have you got so many clues already from two pieces of paper?!" I roll my eyes "I'm not a dumbass....now get your stuff we need to go and question the first victims parents and then the second victims siblings...and hopefully we'll get more information"

He Huff's "can't we wait for a little? I just walked through the do-" I cut him off "you had enough strength to flirt with a criminal, we're taking my car and DO NOT touch or ruin my car or you'll be buying me a new one" he smirks.

Seokjin walks into the office "hey kook can you- oh....hello park" park goes to speak but I cut him off "how can I help hyung?" He nods "it's about the chief-" I groan "I know you like him hyung just ask him out! I'll take your shift for you and he'll have to find someone to cover for him! Go!" I shoo him out the office

Me and park when walk out the station and I huff when the sun hits me. I get into my car which had a scratch down the side from yesterday. Park climbs in and I start to drive without even checking if he has his seatbelt on. He gasps "whoa! It's the law to have your seatbelt on y'know!"

I huff and we put our seatbelts on and I continue driving. He Huff's "so-", I cut him off "do not try and ask me questions about my personal life....this is work we only talk about work... Understand?" He nods "fine fine..."

We arrive at the first suspects house and I climb out and shut the door. I look at jimin "HURRY UP!" He rolls his eyes and we walk to the door and I see a curtain move. I huff "for god sake...stay here" he nods and I then rush to the back door and stand there and smile innocently when a man opens the door and gulps seeing me stood there

I smile "I have a few questions for you Mr Smith" he sighs "m-mr s-smith isn't m-me" I raise my eyebrow "oh? It's not?well it's your face that's on the CCTV AND also listed and shown when we search your name...." I walk inside and then open the door so park walks in. The man sits down and looks down "is this about the murders?"

Park nods "yeah and you didn't make yourself seem any less of a suspect" I sigh "Mr Smith please understand that we are just two people trying to find out who's been murdering all of these innocent people....now it was your daughter that was murdered right?"

He nods "yes....it was three weeks ago....she didn't come home....I thought she was with her friends but instead she was out alone drinking with some strangers...." I nod and write things down in my notebook "where did she go drinking do you know?" He sighs "I can't say for certain but it was probably the club down the road?..."

I nod "where the body was found....I see...." I ask him a few more questions while park looks around and searches the house. Park walks to me and places a zip lock bag on the table, I sigh "oh for goodness sake....." Mr Smith gasps "t-those aren't mine..!"

Park sighs "we're sorry sir but we have to take you to the station....if you are telling the truth then you will be released and we will only question you about the murders...if not then you will be sent to prison for drug use"

Park handcuffs him and walks out to the car. I sigh and then see some notes "huh... maybe that's-" I pick them up (I had rubber gloves on by the way so my fingerprints won't get on them) I gasp "a letter from the murderer! Aish why didn't he tell us?!"

I walk out to the car and park gets in and I get in, we put our seatbelts on and I put the letter in a zip lock bag and then drive back to the station and park in my same space "park take care of him!" He goes to speak but I walk past him and into the station.

I run to Jung hoseok who was a police officer "sir! Can you check for fingerprints on this letter and get it back to me as quickly as possible or any signs of who gave it to mr smith" he nods and then takes the bag from me and walks away.

I take my gloves off and sigh "the club....wasn't the second body found in a club too...." My eyes widen and I then rush to the chief "sir!- oh! Sorry!" I gasp seeing seokjin and the chief kissing. They jump apart and blush madly.

The chief sighs "y-yes jeon?" I hesitate but step into the room "I have some more information on the case-" he cuts me off "where's park? And why isn't he with you? You are working this case TOGETHER now go and get park and then report back to me"

I go to speak but he doesn't let me "dismissed" I sigh and walk out and look around "where's park?" Min yoongi shrugs "he went to your office" I huff "why can't he just fucking listen to me!"I walk to my office and see him.... doing paperwork "whoa....you're actually... working?"

He rolls his eyes "obviously....I do work....I'm just not as strict with it as you are....I have fun" I nod "I see...." I walk to the whiteboard and then start to write down the information we gathered today.

Aish this is gonna be harder than I thought
