The next morning
Jungkooks pov

I walk into work and huff seeing that bitch from yesterday....what was her name?.....ah I've forgotten....

I walk to her and she smiles widely "morning detective!" I huff "don't smile so widely....hoseok is the only one I allow to smile that widely....now stop" she frowns a little "okay well we get to start work today right?" I yawn and nod "yes"

I walk into my office and she follows me. I look at her "what's your name again?" She smiles "I'm Amelia!" I nod "uh hu....you're divorced right?" Her eyes widen "uh....me and my ex are currently sorting the divorce out yes...h-how did you know?"

I huff "I'm a detective not a dumbass......now wheres your files" I hold my hand and out and she puts a huge pile of paper on my hand "here is everything! Uh that's my CV, my work experience and other things I was told you would need" I look at it and then drop it in a pile on the ground "uh hu well I'll look at that when I give a shit...so I won't look at it...what is it exactly you want to do?"

She looks at me "I want to be like you! I want to be top of the station!" I nod "I see....well don't get your hopes up....you have a family right?" She nods "yes I have a daughter" I nod "you won't be top of the station if you have a family like that" she tilts her head "what?"

I sigh and stand up "look....to be where I am right now I dedicate hours and hours and hours of my life to studying and working on cases. I moved away from my family when I was 13 to start working for myself....and I swore to Myself that I would do anything for my work....and that's exactly what I did....I gave up contact with my family....I lived in this office for 2 years I think because I could r afford to stop working....you wouldn't cope if you had to do what I did... nobody would.....not even me.... you'd have to give a lot of things up...no matter how hard it would be.... you'd have to give up a lot and stick to A LOT of rules and regulations.... nobody can be where I am or be like me..."

I look out the window to see jimin and the others all in work sat at their desks and I smile a little watching them all messing around and laughing. Amelia sighs "does your boyfriend know all of this?" I nod "of course he does! He knows pretty much everything about me...well....not everything" she tilts her head "what do you mean?"

I glare at her "that's none of your business! Now! In short, don't get your hopes up for being like me! Nobody can be like me okay? I've been through some shit that got me here...and I don't think you'd cope if you had to go through what I went through...now go and get the printing I have and also get me a black coffee"

She nods "yes sir! Any sugar?" I shake my head "no...now go" she stands up and walks out the office. I sit down in my chair and groan a little "I'm already done with this...." I stand up and then grab some paperwork and my eyes scan over it. I yawn a little and then continue working on the case.

I wait a few minutes and Amelia hasn't come back. I huff "stupid fucking trainee's" I go to walk out but see her over at jimins desk talking to Jimin and my blood boils.
I step out my office and I stand with my arms crossed watching them both.

I hear taehyung clear his throat "uh...he's right there" Amelia suddenly turns around "detective! I-i w-was just-" I cut her off "you were just not doing as I said...you do know IM your boss here okay? So fucking do as I said! Just because you're a girl doesn't mean you can fuck about and flirt with the other officers! Now MOVE IT!!"

She looks down and walks to the canteen. I look at jimin "want to explain what that was about?" He shrugs "she just came over and started to ask me about a case....it was a serial killer from ten years ago that was never found...she was wondering if I'd hand the case over to her" I Huff "don't give her the case jimin"

He nods "I won't...but why would she ask for a particular case?" I look at her walking back to my office holding coffee "I don't know.... but I'll find out....but for the mean time...NONE of you speak to her... Understand me?" They all nod.

I huff and walk to my office again and she looks down "sorry sir....I didn't mean to disobey you..." I lean against my desk "why did you ask for that case? What's so special about that one case?" She sighs "i-ive just heard rumours that's all"

My eyes widen and I then nod "tell me" she sits down "there are rumours that the serial killer is still around but is killing less people so they don't get caught...one man said they saw a man who fits the description of the serial killer in the streets of Busan....b-but nobody is sure"

I huff "AND YOU DIDN'T THINK TO FUCKING REPORT IT?!" She Shakes her head "no! My ex told me the police wouldn't work on the case with that information!" I huff "no the police won't buy detectives will! Aish you fucking dumb bitch!"

I walk out the office slamming the door leaving her in there and walk to jimin and then push his chair so he moves away from the desk. He gasps "um....rude?" I go through the draws of his desk and huff "jimin....why is there lube in your desk?" He shrugs "no idea"

I roll my eyes and then pull out the files for the serial killer case and scan through them. Jimin moves his chair back and then stands up also looking at them "what's up?" I sigh "there are rumours of seeing the man with the same identity description as the serial killer...and that bitch in there didn't think to tell anyone....so now we're possibly behind on the case because people didn't report it"

Jimin Huff's "if anyone can catch him it's you.... we'll work together alright?" I nod and then Amelia walks out the office and walks to us and says something but I ignore her and start to work on the case

We could be so behind on this case now! And it's all her fault!!!

UGH!! GIRLS SUCK!!!!........well.....I'm sure not all of them....but still..... I stand by my latest statement....girls suck.... nobody can change my mind...
