Catharsis || Jungkook

It's been a month since that day. As if the time paused for Y/n. She is quieter than she ever have been. She is pretending to be all jolly but Jungkook can still see the silence in her eyes. All those nights he saw her sitting on ground with her phone, not going out at all. Jungkook is not like all those cold husbands we read about in fictions. Man is a walking green flag that y/n fears that she might ruin his life. He is continuously trying to hype her up while he himself is caught in a false position at work. He invited Mia and her boyfriend for her. He noticed y/n can't hold a certain emotion for a long time. She is totally different according to situation. Particularly strong enough to act situationwise. He likes her determined traits. He figured out this woman can do anything if she heard the word challenge. When Mia came to know that y/n is learning cooking, she challenged her to cook something without Jungkook's help. He was hesitant but y/n passed the challenge.

It's still a mystery for jungkook that who made this woman suffer to come to this point of state. He envies that person who had this much effect on her.

He was humming the new song he wrote and composed himself for the new webtoon his company which was supposed to launch next year. The song he made thinking of y/n.

He stops immediately when he hears a knock at the door of his PC room.

"Jungkook?"

"Ohh y/n.. do you need anything?", He pushes back his rolling chair to have a proper look of his wife who is standing under the door frame.

"Do you have time tomorrow?" She asks.

Jungkook searches for his schedule in his mind only to realise that tomorrow is Sunday. He nods a yes.

"Will you come with me to my parents home then? It's Mingyu's birthday tomorrow", y/n bites her inner cheek occasionally not being sure if she did right asking him or not.

Jungkook stands up from his seat, "Ofcourse I'll", a thought hit his head as he says ,"let's go" and approaches nearer with an excitement.

"Where?"

"It's our first visit to your parents after our marriage. I can't greet them empty handed and I have to buy birthday gift for my brother-in-law too", Jungkook said as in matter of fact.

"No need. I was going to shopping mall for that anyways", Y/n shook her hands on air to stop him. But who is to listen? Jungkook? Nop.

"That's great. Wait a minute. I'll change and come", with this Jungkook dashes out from there.

They reaches the mall within an hour. It is not crowded bot not empty either. They buy gifts for y/n parents. A beautiful dress for her mom and a lucky token for her father. Especially a ipad for the birthday boy. Y/n protests but Jungkook doesn't listen.

He says, "He is my brother-in-law. I can gift him anything I want".

They are on the top floor of mall so they need to take the elevator. On the way y/n stops on her track looking at the kids section. Approaching the glass wall she presses her palms and nose over it like a kid, totally forgetting about Jungkook. Jungkook halts on his track when he doesn't find y/n accompanying him.  His eyes scans the area before locating her looking at something like a lost kid. He giggles taking out his phone and snaps few shots before calling her.

Coming back to reality y/n runs back to her husband and waits for the elevator. The doors open revealing an almost empty room. They enter taking the last corner and the door closes. The door opens again at the food court and people hops in like here is a apocalypse broke down in the mall.
