Jessie is done with life and done with everyone in it, and only at 8 years old! She's direct, a bit mean, and highly competitive with the other kids. When a strange man gives her $20 to try and be friends with his kid, she really is only in it for the money, and the two don't get along. But will her strange new neighbor be something more than a childhood rival?
