Robin and I walk into the cafeteria with our lunches in our hands. We find our table and sit down as i start talking to Nancy and Steve about how my trip was. As i was talking, i heard someone start yelling.
I turned around to see a long-haired guy with a hellfire tee on.
"Who's that?" I asked.
"Eddie 'The Freak' Munson" replied Steve.
"Steve!" yelped Robin and Nancy.
"Why? You wanna talk to him?!" Asked Nancy.
"Maybe.." i replied, kicking her feet softly under the table. She flashed me a smile as i looked back at Eddie. He looked quite familiar, and his name sounded familiar as well, as if his presence wasn't just a vacant area in my mind. He sent a flashing smile to me as he got down. I motioned Nancy to my side of the table.
"I think i might talk to 'the freak'" i said, whispering.
"Well I certainly can't stop you, but i heard he was trouble. Mike's told me quite a fee things about hellfire." said Nancy.
"Oh. Well i just got back, time to take some risks!" I replied. She shrugged and patted my head.

TIME SKIP TO AFTER SCHOOL

The school bell rang as i said goodbye to the gang. "Bye Mike! Bye Dustin! Bye Lucas! Bye everyone!" I said loudly. Everyone waved and giggled. I decided to take the shortcut to my house and just write a sticky note for Steve. I pulled out the sticky note from my bag and wrote:
Hey Steve! Sorry, i decided to take the shortcut home. See ya in 10!

I stuck it to the school trash can and walked off. I wandered into the woods, searching for the table in the middle. As i was walking to the table, i bumped into something, or someone that made my bag drop.
"Watch it-" I started.
"Woah sorry! Didn't mean to scare you." said a beautiful voice.
"Holy shit, i'm sorry! I can go away if you'd like." I said, scrambling my belongings together. When i was done, i realized i couldn't find my sticky notes. When i got up to ask if Eddie had seen them, i saw him holding them in his hand while smirking. What. A. Bitch. Whatever, it was just sticky notes. I quickly grabbed it from his cold hands. I shivered slightly at the touch.
"Hey, aren't you that girl that just came back from being MIA all year?" He asked.
"Uh yeah i guess." I replied, setting my stuff down on the table.
"So.. is this your spot?" He asked.
"Well you're inquisitive, and yes, it is my spot." I replied.
"Oh well sorry i dont mean to be intrusive." He said.
"You're not. Actually, i meant to talk to you earlier, but i was so busy with catching up in classes that i couldnt. Can we maybe talk now?" I asked. He shrugged and placed his box and jacket on the table.
"So, what do you wanna talk about?" Eddie said.
"Maybe getting to know each other? I saw you at lunch today and thought you were pretty cool." I replied.
"Oh uh ok well my name is Eddie Munson." He said chuckling.
"Okay well my name's y/n." I said.
"Wait, y/n?" He asked.
"Yeah?"
"It's me! Eddie! Eds?! Ed?! Remember you always called me 'Ed' and i hated it!" He said.
"Woah! That's you?! You looked so.." i started.
"Different? Yea well remember my hair was buzzed.. and I didn't have these sweet 'ol tatties yet." He started.
"Oh yea! You played guitar didn't you?"
"Yep! Still do, still do." He said.
"Woah. I actually kind of missed you now that i think about it." I said.
"Well, i forgot about you, even though you're pretty unforgettable." He said, smiling. We continued on and on about life and random shit. The sky started darkening while we were still talking.
"Hey uh, do you mind if i stay at your place until Steve picks me up tonight? I know I shouldn't be asking you but i'd really appreciate-" i started.
"Hey, yea it's fine i dont mind." He said.
"Oh thank goodness." I replied. We gathered up our stuff and started to walk off. We started to his big van in the empty parking lot. He welcomed me in and started the car. We then drove off, blasting whatever music he had. He was more into heavy metal and i was into pop rock, but i loved his vibe.
We were now at his trailer. In a way, it felt cozier than usual.
